What a huge difference proper Recoding makes!! THE ORIGINAL GERMAN RECORDING WAS FANTASTIC BUT NOT THE ONE FROM AMAZON.com!!😒 It sure Seemed to be a knockoff!!!!! VERY VERY UNHAPPY.

Can't stop listening to this album - Randy's voice really suits the material she sings a series of what is effectively mostly 80's disco and club tracks such as Give me the Night, Glow of Love Come into my Life, I'll be Around, Holding back the years etc. but the production treatment makes the songs take on a new lease of life, this is also enhanced by the many different yet not tiresome externded mixes on the 2nd CD.My favouriate is Cajun Moon but her treatment of Patrice Rushen's Forget me Nots - tops the original for me.a Hidden gem set to enjoy a new audience thanks to BBR. Great Job.

A fantastic album that comprises mainly covers of iconic soul/r&b hits. I first heard Randy sing Cajun Moon live at the Manchester Arena back in July 2000 (appearing on the same bill as Dionne Warwick & Gladys Knight- awesome concert!). Randy puts her stamp on these tracks and the album is well produced with excellent sound quality. Randy has been making quality recordings for over 40 years- this is one of them. Glad I bought it!

Better than her weak late 80s output but not very varied rhythms. Good to hear proper instruments again. I recommend permanent/play mode for a more up to date Randy sound
