Review: Retro Alex Raymond figure. - This figure is based upon Alex Raymond's original Prince Thun from the Flash Gordon comic strips, not the Thun from the cartoon, though they are very similar. This is a "retro" figure echoing back to the figures produced in the 1980s. It lacks the detail and articulation of the modern Alex Raymond Flash Gordon and Ming figures produced by NECA, but it is supposed to. Decent figure for what it is. Unfortunately, it does come on a card back, like those older figures, so the packaging must be damaged to remove the figure. Display in the packaging or damage the packaging. Unfortunately, or fortunately, mine arrived with the plastic bubble separated from the card. The figure was inexpensive and the packaging is more or less undamaged otherwise, so I didn't make an issue of it.
