Great lock for a case!
I was looking for a long shackle lock for a case I hade. This lock has been perfect. It fits perfectly in pelican and Plano cases. Overall it seems durable and it comes with two keys. I would recommend this lock to anyone.

Good lock
Works great. Bought to lock up a locker at work and it serves the purpose great. It’s not super bulky but serves a moderate duty job just fine. The shackle thickness will work for most purposes and the length will make it easy to get a key into the body of the lock or, let you clip the lock through thicker locking points. It came with three keys and worked right out of the package. Would recommend to anyone who wants a keyed lock for something like a gym locker or footlocker.

Perfect for my new Gates
I just had to have my 2 backyard gates replaced as the old one just finally starting to fall apart from weather and age. Thee little Yale Locks are just the right size and look great too. They work well and I trust they will give me lots of use.

Decent lock for the money
You can't expect a medium to high security lock for anything under $18 (or more!) but this does okay. I mainly buy locks to pick them, and found that Yale uses a fairly tight, highly paracentric keyway: much more secure than the M1 keyway used by most Master Locks and Brinks (there are exceptions). Recommended for its price point, you can't beat it for a mere $8!

Great quality
Yale locks are great. This is no exception. I am using it to lock my bike cable. Perfect. Smooth key action.

Great for security and Locksport
This lock has the Yale 11 keyway and is a great quality lightweight lock. Ideal for an electrical panel or shed. Decently hard to pick because of the keyway. If you like locksport, this is a great trainer for the tougher Abus 72/40 series. Unlike the 72/40 that has better security pins, but can by bypassed with a cheap tool, this one cannot be bypassed so easily.
