Fantastic device
Super powerful little computer. With options to expand it ever further with extra slot for memory and another one for extra SSD

Fast, Quiet, Small Footprint
Bought this NUC12 as my Music PC. I play Synthesizers & Midi instruments through a USB Audio interface.Has to be quiet (can't have a tower with constant fan noise). My set up uses lots of CPU, but don't really need a graphics card ( I have another option for games). For me a graphics card just adds heat and noise.The fan will come on if you push it ( an old game like Starcraft will push the Iris Xe to it's limit).A small footprint means I can easily move it to my balcony, another room, or fit it in a brief case, just bring a cable to connect to any HDMI/USB monitor/TV and use a USB wireless keyboard/mouse).I am also a Software Engineer, so I love that it comes with Windows 11 Pro which gives more control over setup and settings. Also love the 1TB SSD, plenty of room for my usage.WARNING: Mine did not come with Thunderbolt ports which I don't use anyway. 4 USB ports, 2 HDMI is plenty for me.

This computer is very small, solidly constructed, and it's blazingly fast with 64GB RAM. The Windows ii installation is fully licensed. HOWEVER! Please be aware that: (1) It doesn't include an AC power cord, and (2) It doesn't include the promised pen and flash drive. The computer uses an external AC adapter with a separate power cord. But it doesn't include the power cord. I confirmed with Intel's telephone support line that it's not supposed to come with a cord; I didn't think to ask about the pen and flash-drive when I talked to the guy. At the moment, I'm using a cord stolen from another computer. A new cord is only $8. Also, the computer didn't come with the pen and flash-drive shown in the photos and description. I was miffed about the computer not including the cord, and I posted a very negative comment, which I've deleted. Just be sure you order the cord when you also order the needed monitor and keyboard. EDITED TO ADD: I received a private message about the video chip, apparently regarding the computer's attributes for gaming. I bought this computer to crunch huge and numerous files of astronomy images. It's well-suited to that task. I know nothing about its capabilities for gaming.

It's a great mini pc. I utilize the NUC's often for remote work (this is my 11th). Please be aware that: (1) It doesn't include an AC power cord, and (2) It doesn't include the promised pen and flash drive. The computer uses an external AC adapter with a separate power cord. But it doesn't include the power cord. I had to use one from a spare laptop power cord. This should really be mentioned in the specs of the system.
