I just started flying kites again after 30+ years. I have 3 so far. This one flies the best, is the easiest to handle and looks really cool. I love to hear kids on the beach notice it and comment on the difference in shape. Highly recommend this even if you're new at flying. Looks hard to assemble, but it isn't.

Came with standard kite string. Assembly is easy. Haven't gotten it to fly yet

Took it to Seaside Oregon and spent perhaps fifteen minutes assembling it. There are six two-section rods that stick into a "Tinker Toy" type wheel and plastic caps on the fabric. Once that step was finished, I tied the enclosed reel of string to strings coming from the middle and one edge and it was ready to fly. With the breeze off the ocean, the kite just about flew by itself. There was no running to get it into the air; the breeze caught it right away and it was just a matter of reeling out more string. Fun time was had by all!

There was a bit of fidling to get this together but well worth it. I found it very helpful to follow the advice of others to add supports across from one another as you start setting the rods. Once together it was stable, easy to get aloft and flew faithfully for days. It was different than all of the other kites and the colors were bright and bold againts the blue sky.

I bought this kite last year for a beach trip that was canceled due to the pandemic. We finally made it to the beach this year, and I had my chance! I was NOT disappointed! The kite flew great in a steady wind. I was able to get it pretty high in the air, and could have gone higher, but there was a storm coming, so I only put it up about a hundred feet or so. I do recommend getting a good quality spool of kite string separately. The string that comes with the kite has to be knotted on, and it isn't very long. Overall, I highly recommend this kite!

Not durable, I would not use in stronger winds

I would give this kite zero stars if I could. Couldn’t even assemble it. The polls don’t lock in and it continually falls apart as you try to put the rods in. Terrible product and complete disappointment for my kids who wanted to fly it by the ocean. So mad.
