Works as advised.
Easy to install. Works with both the Ring Stickup Cam 3rd Generation and the Ring Stickup Cam Pro. The only thing you should be aware of is that the 3rd generation camera uses the adapter that comes with the mount. For the Pro, you have to use the base of the Pro to mount that came with your Pro to attach the Pro to the solar mount. The design is simple but there is one flaw that isnt really a concern. When you have the 3rd generation stick up cam there is a place for a screw if you take out a rubber plug at the base of the camera stand base. You should be able to align the hole with one that is on the adapter that comes with the product but the pre drilled holes dont line up. The product works perfectly fine without it but it would be nice if the design flaw is fixed, so it is harder to knock the camera from the mount on accident.Would be nice if it had picture instructions, i had the black adapter backwards for the first 5 min confused how it was gonna work till i flipped it around and saw the word "TOP".

Awesome camera! Great value!
Bought this refurbished for my back door. The range is great! It covers my door, garage & gate to my yard as well as the neighbors yard. It was very easy to install, the picture & video quality are great. I can turn the light on if I need it without motion activating it, I tested the siren & it’s loud. It links up with my other ring cameras in the Ring app & I can monitor everything from my phone, even if I’m not home.

Great product and easy install
Definitely be mindful that this is only a mount. The ring camera is to be bought separately. Aside from that, very easy to install and start working immediately.

Mount The Camera And Solar Panel On One Easy Fixture
Purchased this mount to easily install an outdoor camera and solar panel without having to drill additional holes for mounting each unit separately, due to the mounting surface is stuccoed cinder block. The downside is the mount limits placement options to achieve the desired angles for the camera and panel without interfering with either operation. Not wanting to drill holes through the stucco/cinder block, I placed the mount on the faceplate of one of the outside wall lights. To make this mount work, I did have to reverse the ball mount for the camera and turn the panel attachment bracket sideways. This facilitated achieving the desired angles without interference to either the camera, or the panel.Further, I followed the advice I read in one of this product reviews and drilled holes in the posts to pass through the power cord from the panel to the camera. This certainly cleaned up the appearance of the installation. The mount works well and I now have camera coverage for what was a significant blind spot around our home!

Must have accessory
If you have the ring outdoor camera and a solar panel you need this. You can clean up the wires from the solar panel and tuck them into this bracket nice and neat. Then when you attach the ring camera to it, it becomes a self contained unit and you can just hang it anywhere. Super easy to set up and no more trying to keep the dang cord from looking bad anymore.

Warning Cameras will not last
I’ve got two locations with about 8 cameras. I will warn you that every camera will likely fail within 3 years. I’ve been replacing mine as they fail (initially not realizing it would happen to all of them). So be prepared to replace the cameras every few years. They last just long enough to get out of warranty. Most common problem I’ve had is that the lenses cover will heat up over the years and fall off. Then the lenses itself will start to melt. I live in Oklahoma so it’s not crazy hot like Arizona Utah etc…. Even so with the cameras 10-12ft in the air they are all doing the same thing.Another issue is after a few years you won’t be able to get the cameras into setup mode when you get a new router or modem for your internet. Then you’ll have a useless camera you can’t connect to the internet. This has happened twice. If you google these issues you’ll see they are very common. Before investing thousands like I did be warned…. I guarantee you they will need to be replaced in just a few years.I wish I had spent more and gotten higher quality cameras. Now I’ve spent the same amount of money over 5 years and have lower quality 1080p cameras for the same amount of money. Lesson learned.

Works great for Battery Cam Pro and Ring Small Solar Panel
This worked great with my Ring battery cam pro and Small solar panel. But you have to remove the adapter for the large panel to fit the small panel onto it. Overall creates a very clean look and provides plenty of juice to keep the camera going.
