so I know what it sounds like without it
I received my silencer one day after I received my Aroma Ace, so I know what it sounds like without it. I was pleasantly surprised! From some of the reviews I expected it to be very noisy and distracting. While the sound was noticeable, sometimes more then others, I could live with it. But then the silencer came and it's amazing! It makes a huge difference ... much quieter! I would definitely recommend it.

SILENCER MAKES A HUGE DIFFERENCE
I knew from the reviews before I ordered the diffuser that it would be kind of loud. It sounds kind of like a suction pump. However, the diffuser is so amazing I was willing to deal with it. I was anxious to try the silencer when I saw it, even though the reviews were kind of mixed. It comes with instructions and pics, so I don’t know how anyone could go wrong putting it on. And it DOES work as advertised. I can still hear it of course, but it’s hardly noticeable. I would definitely recommend it if you’re going to buy the diffuser. Maybe it will become standard.

Good but not great
So starting out with the positives; I really appreciate how this diffuser works without water. That makes all the difference in how much I actually use the diffuser. The noise level is something they can 100% stand to work on. Because of that, I got this “silencer” & while I think it has brought the noise level down a bit ... not enough to give it an outstanding review. It’s worth a try. Clearly for some (if you scan the reviews) this works really well for them. For me, the “silencer” hasn’t made too much of a difference.

Nice and quiet.
This silencer totally works. If you use your Aroma Ace on a super high output, you will still have loud sound, but if you use it at 50% or less, it is a HUGE reduction in the noise. Thank you for making this product.

It Works
I was skeptical. This is amazing. Could not stand the noise from the diffuser before. Now I barely hear it. Only compliant is the instructions are not very clear. Watch their video on YouTube.

Reducers the noise
I was surprised that this was able to reduce lots of the noise from the diffuser. I used to be able to hear it as I walked in the room, now I can hear a slight noise when I am right next to the diffuser.

Meh, but Glad I Have It
This did not dampen the sound in any meaning way, but there is in fact a little change. I dont mind the sound without it. Its a nice quiet “white noise” sound with and without the dampener. It’s worth $11 to try.
