Have used these in real tree climbing situations and while I am a rather portly man of nearly 18stones, these did support me and gave me confidence. Having not experienced much of tree carabiners, I did find the fastening a little potchy, but then If they were easy to attach, they'd be easy to DE-tach and be dangerous. Happy with the purchase and would be happy to endorse as a decent product

Use them on my climbing kit to secure tools and tethers.

I'm not climbing with them so obviously don't use my review as a guide if that's what you're looking for.But for EDC, on a backpack for carrying shoes, shopping bags, and a million kid's things then this clip is very good. The twist lock mechanism is the best I've used on carabiners. Easy to use and quick too.

The materials are clearly very strong. The catch mechanism is intuitive and safe by default.

I use these on dog walking belts to hold the leads of two dogs that like to pull. Possibly slightly overkill but I like the security, they’ve not come open accidentally and are big enough to use easily particularly when wearing gloves. Very happy

Works fine but the photo make them lock a lot bigger than they actually are. I would go to go outdoors if locking for a good size Carabina
