Socks have good, thick bottom padding, and are very cushioned as is there claim of power-cushioned. Socks are soft and I like the gray color on bottom helps with not looking dirty. I have only had them on two days this week so I can't say how these socks will hold up after washing many times, however the socks feel very nice on and have definitely helped with my foot pain and socks are true to size so no need to size up. Hope this helps out there to those on the fence about buying.
