I was so tired of SHORT bike lock cables! I took the plunge and bought this one. It's 15' long. It is so easy now to weave it through your bike (securing both wheels). We have 2 bikes that we often lock up together and this is still long enough to get them both locked up. It is a super high quality cable with plastic coating, so doesn't scratch. I feel very secure using it (it's much thicker than standard bike lock/cables. I don't think it will rust any time soon! I use it ALL the time. It's currently got my tool boxes locked inside the back of my truck. I just need to get one more of these! Will totally but this again!

I bought this lock to secure my kayak. The handles on the kayak have a couple inch clearance but the size of the loop and rigidness made threading it through the handle close to impossible. I managed to get it through just enough to make it work. I think one other reviewer noted the same and i should have paid more attention. dinged it a star for lack of forethought by maker that this would limit options. otherwise seems like a solid cable that will hopefully hold up in weather and to thieves.

Quality product, nobody's cutting through this thing it is worth the money to protect what you have invested.

Great product

I have pretty much every length of these cables (some I have more than one of). I use them for everything from securing my crab pots traps to my boat (and the outboard motor, too) to securing 100 lb propane tanks, pressure washers, lawnmowers and other outdoor stuff, as well as my seasonal non-used tires & rims (winter tires in summer, summer tires in winter).They remain flexible even in fairly low temperatures, and the vinyl coating is tough and abrasion resistant - although it does end up getting milky colored after prolonged exposure to sunlight, but this does not affect the performance.Never had one fail.
