Safety first
These were needed for my heavy duty spring install on my truck. After shopping around I chose these as they had good reviews and had safety features that inspired confidence when I used them. I had other sets but these are definitely the new go to set!

Wish I could give more stars
Bought these because my OEM ones couldn't compress a tight coil. They were sturdy and easily compressed the heavy, tight coils on an Audi Q7. And they came with a case to keep the threads clean?! They are great!

Quality looks good.
Easy to use and compress spring really easy. Use on my 2004 tundra. Took me less than 30 minutes to assemble strut and spring.

So much easier and smoother
My truck springs had too narrow of gaps when installed for the older tools to work. They got stuck. This one both fit, and was much smoother and easier to use.Tip: if the gaps in the spring are too tight to get the top hook out, you can remove the threaded rod and pull all the other parts of the clamp off, giving you room to maneuver the top hook out of the spring. I had to do this.

Massive tool will safely compress strut springs
The grippers are very hefty and work well to safely compress the spring. Safety is enhanced by a locking bar that is incorporated into the tool.
