Shower Flow Reducer Limiter Set - Up to 70% Water Saving 4 L/min

Product easy to install, so before installing i measured water for 1 minute i got 6 liters. So i wanted to reduce to 4 liters, so I installed the green insert to get 4 liters. After installing i measured and was getting 6 liters with green insert so I changed it to the blue insert and got 4 liters. So after installing make sure to take a water measurement. Other than that product works.

Appears to be very well made. It is actually metal not plastic on the outside like so many chrome things are. Very easy to install. Works well. I was wanting something that would restrict the flow of water but not affect the water pressure. I ended up using the middle flow for my shower. Previously my shower used way too much water and would empty the hot water tank but now we can still enjoy a bonafide shower without overdoing with the water usage.

Wasn’t sure about the size and didn’t have time to mic it, so went with this and it worked perfect.

Would be nice if they had written info on what size the different color valves were to restrict flow rate. You had to open the product page online to find out.

This hardware really needs instructions that include which direction the plastic flow reducer insert should be facing. It would also be nice if they included a guide with which color reducer corresponded with which color. If the tiny numbers printed on the reducers are any indication, I received 6, 9, and 10 L/min reducers, as opposed to the 4, 6, and 9 L/min advertised on the page.

I purchased 2 of these and both came with all three reducers. Green and yellow came in the little plastic bag along with the all metal chrome adapter with the blue reducer already installed.Installation was simple taking only a few minutes with a crescent wrench and there are no leaks.I have extremely high water pressure in my home, the middle of the road blue reducer (6 L/min) dropped the pressure considerably, almost too much. I may swap it out with the (9 L/min) yellow reducer.If I could change anything it would be to get one in a brushed nickel finish but that does not seem to be an option at the moment.

Didn't come with instructions, but was easy enough to figure out. We had removed the flow reducer in our shower head and found the pressure to be way too high. We then ordered this set to correct the issue. It works as described, but now the water pressure is too low again, even using the highest flow rate restrictor. Starting over with new shower heads, but through no fault of this product.

We needed to reduce the pressure of the shower. This was easy to install and reduced the pressure significantly.

Ich habe den Artikel mit vier Sterne bewertet, da er meine Erwartungen erfüllt hat. Das Produkt ist gut verarbeitet und die Installation einfach. Die Verringerungen funktionieren auch, wobei man sich die größte sparen könnte, da wirklich sehr wenig Wasser aus der Dusche kommt. Facile d'installation et efficace ! J'ai fais quelques mesures de débit que je vous partage ici si ça peut aider d'autres personnes. Sans limiteur ma douche a un débit de 12 L/min. Avec le limiteur orange, il passe à 8 L/min, avec le bleu à 6 L/min et avec le vert à 3 L/min. Super !

Kurzfassung:- mit passendem Duschkopf (Mindestdurchfluss beachten!) habe ich den Wasserverbrauch von 18-20l auf 5l pro Minute reduziert- keine Einbuße im DuscherlebnisLange Fassung:Geliefert wurde das Begrenzerset ohne Anleitung und ohne Werkzeug. Der Einbau ist mit ein bisschen technischen Verständnis kein Problem. Es handelt sich hierbei um einen druckunabhängigen Flussbegrenzer. Eine Gummimembran wird vom Wasserdruck gestaucht und gibt die passende Öffnung frei.Ich verwende ihn zusammen mit einem Spar-Duschkopf (Grohe Tempesta 100 mit Eco Joy), da die geringe Durchflussmenge bei normalen Köpfen den Strahl zu stark verändern würde. Normale Duschköpfe haben ungefähr 18-20 Liter/Minute. Der Grohe benötigt nur 2,5 Liter/Minute und funktioniert sehr gut mit dem blauen Einsatz (5,5 Liter/Minute). Ich habe ebenfalls den grünen Einsatz (3,6 Liter/Minute) probiert. Jedoch wohne ich in einem MFH mit Zentralheizung und man merkt jede Wasserentnahme in Form einer Temperaturschwankung. Was manchmal sehr unangenehm war. Ansonsten ist das Strahlenbild mit dem grünen Einsatz gut und eignet sich bestimmt an einem Durchlauferhitzer dirket im Bad.Fazit: Alle Werte am Zähler abgelesen. Top! Der Umwelt zu liebe Wasser sparen und auch noch gut duschen können.Mein erster Fehler beim Einbauen:Ich hatte den Begrenzer zuerst falsch herum eingebaut, da ich zusätzlich einen Wasserfilter (BwF DP-1) am Duschkopf verbaut habe, um das Chlor/Kalk zu filtern. Die Gummimembran hatte sich nach 5-6 Benutzung so verkeilt, dass der Durchfluss zu gering war. Ergebnis -> kein Wasser/schlechtes Strahlenbild.

We had our old central heating boiler replaced with a combi-boiler which meant that our mixer shower was fed by hot and cold water at water mains pressure, instead of from the low pressure system fed from the header tank in the loft. The shower mixer control couldn't cope with this excess pressure.Happily, this situation was resolved by fitting the flow reducer between the shower hose and the head. Although there were no fitting instructions with it, it was quite obvious where it should be fitted, and it saved us the cost of fitting a new shower.An excellent product I would recommend to anyone.

I read the other reviews and noticed some that said this product didn't reduce the flow. I still chose to try it as it was so cheap and was offered as a next day delivery. I can only assume that the other bad reviews had been left by competitiors of the product because they make no sense. I fitted the attachment in a matter of just a minute anbd tried all 3 different restrictors. All 3 did exactly what was described. The blue one probably restricting my flow by 50%. The yellow one which jas the least restriction was fine for me. It slowed the usage down but left enough flow to still have a decent shower. It goes to show, you can't always believe reviews.
