Hand Towel Holder for Bathroom Countertop, 17" Tall, Freestanding, Non-Slip

This is actually pretty sturdy- more so than I thought it would be. Also tall enough to hold longer length hand towels. The arms can swivel.

I just received and started using my new HB Design hand towel stand this week. I had been looking for something sturdy and compact that would fit alongside my bathroom sink. This product met my requirements and more. I have found it to be intelligently designed, stylish, quite solid, and reasonably priced, especially with regards to what is easily found in brick and mortar stores and online. The stand comes in a flat pack, so you have to fasten the base to the towel holder yourself with your own phillips screwdriver (not included). This being said, the parts are the stand (preassembled), the base, one screw, a locking washer, and felt pads as well as suction cups to help keep it in place. In addition, the company includes clear instructions/tips that make it even easier to put together. Finally, I'm pleased with the clean, minimalist design and practical functionality. This product doesn't look as cheesy as most free standing towel racks on the market. It is small enough to by the side of the sink, but hefty enough to not fall over every time you dry your hands even without the suction cups. I'm pleased with this purchase.

This thing is solid and feels pretty heavy, but will still tip and wobble when you grab or place a towel on it without the suction cups.

This is towel holder is terrible and is not worth one star. You will be disappointed if you buy it. In guest bath and has only been used a couple of times . It is wobbly and unable to tighten it. Inferior product and certainly not worth the money.

So overall, yes it is a towel holder and it saves space on my kitchen counter compared to my old one that had two arms sticking out like a T. Since those were my two criteria when buying this holder, it does the job and I'm a happy camper. It can hold two of my kitchen hand towels if I fold them in half once. BUT the assembly was kind of annoying. One screw on the bottom holds it all together and that screw was not easy to get in. It was a wonky threading or something that made it a tight fit the whole way in. I couldn't get it in all of the way so my husband had to tap in with the drill to get it sturdy. Another complaint is that the bottom of the two towel arms is loose around the support arm and angles down a bit. This isn't what I see the in the example product photo. Not a big deal, but with it being that loose, it also likes to free-swing a bit. I would have liked it to be a tiny bit tighter so the arm was straighter and had more resistance when moving it back and forth. My last issue were the imperfections in the metal. There are dimples and imperfections in the areas where two pieces come together or a rounded edge was made. It doesn't effect the piece other than in visual appeal.

Love it! It is well made and the little suction cups that go on the bottom do a great job of keeping it from falling over.

The screw keeps getting loose and that causes instability in its position. Overall a sturdy and clean product. Ideal for hand towels’ length. Would’ve given 4-5 stars had it not had the issue of screws loosening up.

I was happy to have found a hand towel stand tall enough to accommodate a full-sized hand towel but 5 months later, one of the towel bars is so loose it doesn’t stay put and always moves around. Not ideal when you have limited space and it looks out of place.
