Excellent Value Clone
The media could not be loaded. Excellent value clone of the BM 940 Osborne. The blade was shave sharp right out of the box and perfect blade centering. The action was a little tight so I gave the pivot screw a slight adjustment and now the action is fast and drop shut smooth. The handle is a quality plastic with a carbon fiber pattern but has a solid feel in the hand with no sharp contours or radius’s as was mentioned in other reviews. This was $25 after the $3 coupon was applied. You won’t be disappointed with this one!

940 clone
It looks like a 940, at 1/10th the cost. It's not the quality of a boujee Benchmade. Just an inexpensive knife, that you don't have to worry about getting beat up, or even losing. It's a good way to "test drive" the form factor of the 940, before spending the money on the original. So, it's a good value for what you get, just don't have high expectations.

Perfect daily carry for the low price
Any true knife collectors will quickly spot this as a copy of a well known maker however there is no branding at all on this. In spite of the obvious attempt to copy a certain look this is really a decent knife. Mine locks up solid and the blade is centered perfectly. The steel is obviously average yet after a little work on the precision adjust sharpener it took a fantastic edge. For the low cost this was a no brainer to me if for nothing more than having a daily beater to carry at times.

Diamond in the rough - Clone
The media could not be loaded. As other reviewers mentioned, this is a near identical match for a well known knife. This knife is obviously not that knife. The fit and finish is good but not great, the handles are a relatively flexible plastic with a carbon fiber appearance, and the handles and lock have a rough or sharp feel around the edges out of the box. The action is gritty at first, but with a wash and some fidgeting loosened right up. As seen in my video, I can flick open and closed with ease. I spent about 10 minutes lightly scraping and sanding the edges of the handles and now they are as smooth as you’d like. The blade steel is likely 440c, in my opinion a fine steel for this price point. The grind on my knife is even and sharp out of the box. For the money, this is a great knife either in general or if you’re looking for a clone of the original that won’t break the bank.

Cheap for a reason.
If anyone out there is thinking of buying this in hopes it’s a reasonably accurate clone of the 940-1, it would be my suggestion to look elsewhere. Hold each in different hands immediately tells you all you need to know. One is premium and costs a lot because of that while the other isn’t premium (or even close), and it doesn’t cost very much because of that.Who knows what the steel is, but I will say it’s pretty sharp, which let’s be honest- that’s what you need most from a knife. It needs to cut stuff, but if the steel is cheap, it’s not going to stay sharp for long. We all have reason to suspect this is cheap steel. There no reason for it not to be.So what we have here is a cheap pretty sharp knife that I would feel much better about if it wasn’t trying to be something it falls miles short of- the legendary 940, in this case the 940-1.

Superb EDC Knife
Excellent quality axis lock folding knife with reverse Tanto blade. After unpacking this purchase, I made a very slight adjustment to the axis lock tension of the bronze washers as it was delivered, such that it now requires only a very light flick of my wrist to open or close the blade. It was delivered perfectly sharpened enough even for shaving, and ready to go to work once removed from the nice sealed box. The only matter I can not yet attest to is the long term edge durability and sharpness retention of the blade. Can this knife replace the thrill and lasting enjoyment of owning a famous-brand USA made pocket knife? No, but most of us can only justify spending the cost of so many domestic $200, $300 and $400+ folders. Knives like this add to the hobby's fun.

It’s a 20 footer
Decent knife for the money. Handles feel a little cheap but it looks good. Looks just like the real thing I’ve fooled a couple people.
