I'm going back to school at the ripe age of 44 and studying arithmetic. Regular pens were destroying my hands and causing me a lot of pain. These pens work for me, as someone post carpral tunnel and trigger finger surgery. Finding these pens make it easier for me to continue my studies pain free.The pens write smoothly and don't take long to get used to the new writing position

Excellent product . Easy to use and to feel you are capable of writing again.

This is a great pen once you have it in place. It's like writing with your index finger. However, it's not as convenient to get into writing position as a regular pen if you pick it up and put it down often, rather than using it for a long time, . Since the retracting button is on one side, you need to put the pen in place with your index finger on the other side. The pen is comfortable and works well. I like to use it if I'm writing a page or more, but not so much for jotting a quick item on a list, for instance. But then, if my hands were more painful or weak, I would highly recommend this.Oops, it's out of ink already. How do I get it apart to install a refill?

Didn’t have a very good grip and didn’t really even help my arthritis. The pens work fine and write nicely, but didn’t help my hands feel any less pain.

My husband has Parkinson’s and has not been able to sign his name clearly for years. With this pen he is able to sign his name. I gave one to a neighbor who also had problems signing his name. He was very happy that he was able to sign his name. He said he was going to order more!

My wife has arthritis in her hands, and for the first time using these pens she was able to write legible for the first time.

Works great for a child who struggles with using the correct hand grip for writing. Would recommend.
