I used to have the plastic fountain and it stopped working after several weeks.My cat is drinking more when the water is rotating and therefore an another fountain had to be purchased. I love this one since it's not plastic and very quiet on the ears.I would definitely recommend buying this item.

Previously owned a plastic fountain and this seems to be better in terms of hygiene. It can be noisy but works well and my cat likes to drink from it. Using it for around 3 months and so far it’s good enough.

My cats love the water fountain. Filters water and keeps it fresh. Super quiet and the blue LED light is very attractive. I regret not buying it earlier. Totally recommend!!

The tank is full of water yet only little water drops up to the surface, not enough to drink from. If your cat isn't familiar with drinking from a running tap or fountain, I suppose this isn't the product for your lil one.

Easy to clean, better than the plastic fountains. My cats took a while to get used to it, but love it now. Cool blue lights. Very silent.Would have liked a window to see the water level. Don't care much for the plastic components
