One out of 6 did not work
One out of the 6 I purchased did not work out of the box. The return window was already closed by the time I got around to putting some BTC on them. The manufacturer told me they would not replace the defective part. So buyer beware! These are apparently low quality if they have that kind of a failure rate and I guess they don't even test them before they ship. Would not recommend 1/10.

Great gift
I gifted a few of these to my coworkers in IT after they displayed interest in Bitcoin. I loaded them all up with $5 and passed them out. They really appreciated them.

A better paper wallet.
So far I like what I see. Pack comes with 3 and is fairly easy to set up. These are like a paper wallet in that you can use "copay" (or other apps) to add funds or move the funds off. You just use your computer screen instead of a paper.PROS:- More secure than a paper wallet.- Set up was easy (3 steps).- Easy to move funds to/from.- More durable than a paper wallet.Neg:- Small and could be lost easily.- Just like with a paper wallet once you "sweep the fund" I don't believe it can't be reused. If you can reuse it it would not be as secure.

1/2 died immediately after it could have potentially taken my btc.
Used one to gift family. Worked fine. Set up a second one, had the public address pulled up, unplugged and reinserted the drive into my computer and it was bricked. This is purely a novelty item, it should NEVER cost you the money it holds.Security-wise it stores the private key in plain text, the second you break the seal any malicious entity with access could read the key off the drive. Between this and the risk of failure, it's safer to generate a private key yourself and write it down on a piece of paper.

Please excercise caution with this device
There’s not a snowball’s chance in Hades that I would ever try to put even a fraction of a BTC on this device. It worked just fine at first, put it in my safe, plugged it in later to move BTC to it and the hardware failed.I contacted CoinKite about the hardware failure and the most intelligible response they had for me was, “Maybe you should buy another one because our hardware failed because it’s robust ”I would be out a whole BitCoin if I had even been able to successfully transfer to it.CoinKite also made it clear through their response to me that this was my problem and not there’s because they don’t stand behind their inferior and cheaply-produced product. There are no guarantees with this inadequate and poorly engineered device. Please use caution with the OpenDime as you too may be out a fraction of a BitCoin or multiple ones. The correspondence I had about this hardware failure left the ineffable impression on me that, well, “Too bad, so sad. Buy another one of our mediocre and untrustworthy products.”Nay. I shall pass. Please use caution with this device.
