My nephew has autism - he's about 6 years old. I am always looking for great toys to keep him active and engaged. He loves toys that have a great sensory aspect - especially touch. This is a safe and fun way for him to feel the textures of the items in the gel and get to refine motor skills. The play pad isn't huge, but that's actually nice because it's something he can focus on and it isn't too overwhelming. The gel material inside is soft and maleable, and there are a variety of shapes and items to push around. I am really optimistic that it will be right up his alley.

I have a Kindergarten student who needs to keep his hands busy in order to focus during whole group instruction. This is the perfect tool to give him something to do with his hands. I used cheap hair gel as the filler and it gives just the right amount of movement to the shapes.

My autistic 7 year old loves this toy. Great for learning colors, counting and working on fine motor skills. It has last a while and she is rough so it has great durability.

Hard to move the pieces around, especially for a toddler.

Good concept but the product sucks , leakage no matter what you do to seal product, don’t waste your money on this . The card sleeves doesn’t go into the slot without jamming or forcing the card… just cheap.

I love this brand !! And I love the idea of this product but the cards got wet. It's pretty much inevitable because you have to put it in before filling it with water or else you're just bending and struggling the whole time to put it in once it's filled with water. Also leaked the same day I got it so we just haven't used it since. Had high hopes and the kids liked it for about 5 minutes but now it's sitting pretty in the trash because it was pretty much unusable ):
