Worked great for GX6021
Started printing better images and word docs as soon as we changed this part. One reviewer did say that the screwdriver that comes with it is too small, which is correct, but other than that I recommend buying this cartridge vs. the Cannon.

easy to change
Having never changed an ink overflow wasn't sure what I was in for (though I would recommend using a larger screwdriver vs the small one included) - once you have the door open it is a quick change. although I am not sure if I can recycle the overflow container.

Good to have one on hand.
I got this one as a spare. I was forced to flush the ink line due to bad print quality and I was notified by the printer that I couldn't do so because my waste cartridge was almost full. So, there I sat unable to use the printer until the new cartridge arrived. I bought an OEM cartridge and the cost was about 15% more than this one was. OK, so that may not break the bank but every little bit helps so I ordered this one just so I would have one on hand and in the future not have to wait.It came with a disposal bag and looks just like the OEM ones. At this point I don't need to use it yet, however when I do, I will update this review. Based on other reviews I am not worried that it won't work because it will either clear the code, or it won't. It doesn't have an effect on how the printer performs and none of the reviews said that it failed to clear the waste tone full code.

Looks a lot like the Canon cartridge, but in a simpler box
This looks a lot like the Canon cartridge, which I don't think has any electronics in it. It's just a box with padding to hold excess ink from repeated cleanings.We got the Maxify 7021 specifically because it had a long warranty (3 years), and huge ink stores. We often don't use the printer for months and it needs a ink flush to work properly which produces a huge amount of waste ink.

Adequate
Adequate replacement for the Maintenance Cartridge Waste Ink Collector. Not identical but installs easily. I'll have to wait to see how long it lasts before replacing again.
