8 Claw Clips Pinces Hebillas Model #76023

I have fairly thick, long hair. I like to 'roll' the hair along my brow line and clip it back over my ear, so it doesn't fall into my eyes. So I want clips that are small, subtle, and sturdy. I also like having different colors based on what I'm wearing. This set was absolutely perfect for me. They're small so they don't stand out. They're good at holding so they keep the hair right where it needs to be, even though it's thick and it has a lot of weight hanging from it (since the rest of my hair goes down to my waist). The clips are easy to put on and remove. I haven't had any issues with breakage so far, and I wear them every day. Well recommended.

This size claw clips are really hard to find. If Goody made a set of all clear, I'd buy a bundle. As it is, I bought 2 sets, which is costly since I don't use the other colors, and I only got 2 clips out of each set, which is why I took off a star.

Great addition to hair care accessories. I scooped up a couple packages of these when I realized that these medium sized claw clips are very similar to the old school claw clips of many many years ago. The teeth overlap when closed, and have less spacing than most do. These clips will actually grab onto the hair rather than loosely holding it. The teeth don't feel like they are going to snap off if they bump up against something. So many are tragically cheaply made. These are solid. Good product if looking for an effective hair gripping clip. I will be purchasing more since I like to have them all over the place. I don't so much use them for hair styles, but I do use them to keep my hair out of my face as needed, or as a way to help my long hair dry naturally (clip up some hair to help air to get to it, and to keep from hair going flat from weight). I occasionally henna my hair, I use these to hold sections of my hair (which I much prefer to use over the duck bill style clips).

These are a nice size, and I DO like the colors, especially the tortoise shell-like ones. But... the grip is a little too wimpy, and when you are holding it to put into your hair, if not careful it will flip out of your hand and fly across the room. I have hair on the thinner side, so the hold, once I get it in there, is okay. But if you have thicker/heavy hair, I would not recommend these for you. Goodie hair clips are the best for thin hair, it’s just something about the clip teeth that work great for my thin and flat hair. These are the best and are comfortable to wear all day and they do not dig into the scalp! THANK YOU GOODIE TEAM!!!

These are good to use on short hair. I like the variety of colors included in each set. I can’t find these in stores anymore, so I’m happy to find them on Amazon.

I have thick hair and I needed clips to hold my hair out if my face. Having used this type of clip in the past, and I’ve used Goody products before, I ordered this set and a larger set. I dislike both sets. They actually hurt my scalp and it has to do with the newer way they make the claws. Older claws didn’t wrap completely around the section of hair you’re pulling back. This newer style holds way less hair and presses into my scalp while doing it. It’s just odd that any new design would be so poorly thought out. The only thing I can come up with is the claws get such a strangle hold on the hair and that drives the clips into the scalp. I could go with less hair or a looser way of using them, but then the hair and/or the clip wouldn’t be secure. For me this is just a huge fail, design wise. On the plus side, they seem durable…but have a tendency to pop out of my fingers before I place them, due to the tension in the spring. But they never broke, so bright side?
