Heavyweight Champ!
If you're considering buying this knife, then you most likely searched for a few of the following keywords: large, heavy duty, tough, or EDC. Before I get too deep into this review, here's the takeaway: if you wanted a blade that matches all the aforementioned terms and then some, just buy it. You won't be disappointed!Getting into the details: this knife by Off Grid Knives is large. Not ridiculously so (looking at you, Cold Steel), but it definitely fills the hand in a satisfying way. The flipper tab launches the blade open with a solid 'thunk', and lockup is tighter than a bank vault. There is no wiggle or play in any direction once the blade is opened. Some will find fault with the weight of this knife, which while not uncomfortably heavy, is certainly no lightweight. That's due mostly to the thicker blade stock, as well as the full steel liners, which are not skeletonized. If you're a fan of knives so lightweight that you forget you're carrying them, you're not likely to care for this one. But if, like me, you wanted a knife that feels indestructible, this is a huge plus. The blade profile is a classic full clip design, that gives you plenty of belly for all sorts of cutting tasks and chores, and maintains a precise tip for those delicate tasks. The steel is 154CM, which is a huge upgrade the the first version, which used D2. Great edge retention, durability, and toughness, while still being relatively easy to sharpen. The G10 scales on the handle are comfortable and grippy, while not being too aggressive. There's no "cheese grater effect" on your hands from scales that are too textured. The milling isn't overly complex, but does its job of channeling sweat and water away from the grip. The pocket clip is absolutely perfect; well done, Off Grid! It's a deep carry clip, which is recessed into the handle scales, and features countersunk screw heads, so there's nothing for the clip to hang up on when tucking into your pocket or being withdrawn from it.For the asking price, you'd be hard pressed to do better than this knife. It regularly beats out many of my much more expensive knives to be carried for the day, and I would put it up against blades 5x its price and still be confident that it would perform just as well.

Amazing blade for the money! Amazing blade, period.
As a reviewer, I have a tendency to be more critical and detailed because I have a sharper eye and higher expectations of anything I buy.I'll keep this pretty brief.Bottom line... if you're looking for a new folder, and you're not wanting to drop $200-300 for a knife, but you still desire that level of quality in terms of build and looks, then look no further... this is the one.Seriously. Just buy it.I first bought this knife a couple days ago for my brother for Christmas. I liked it so much, the same day I received his in the mail, I went back on Amazon and bought one for myself. It arrives in a nice box with a custom foam cutout... hey, presentation matters and companies too often neglect this. When I took hold of it, I noticed the weight and solidity. Very solid. Nicer D2 steel, G10 scales/bolsters and backspacer. Bigger size -- good for a medium to big hand. Exquisitely milled design on the bolsters/scales. Backspacer completely flush with scales and liners. Solid pocket clip with blade tip-up orientation (preferable to most, including myself). Large straight-edge blade with minimal badging (which I appreciate). No movement in any direction with the blade when locked into place. Ceramic ball-bearing pivot with very smooth motion. Solid liner-lock design. Nicely milled jimping on the flipper tab and the blade's thumb rise. Proper and pleasing sound when the knife clicks into place and when it closes. Blade is perfectly centered when closed.I'd easily compare this $75 knife to anything in the $200-300 range. Amazing value. This blade is the business. Highly recommended.

day one (update)
go this delivered today; first impressions mixed. it is very well made and came sharp; it has some weight to it which is a plus. From the videos i saw on this, i did however expect quicker action. Perhaps it is just because its new, but the deployment is not as 'wow' as i had expected from the reviews and the videos. Size, everyone said this is a big EDC and i don't really find that to be the case. perhaps it is because i carry larger knives. It has more weight and is wider the the CS recon 1 i had been carrying.... but it is nowhere near as intrusive in the pocket as the CS Espada i also recently purchased. That is a very large and wide knife, and dwarfs this one. This is perfect for EDC; the lock is stable, the fit is stop on, no wiggle when deployed. the G10 scales are some of the best i have seen, even on much more expensive knives. the d2 is solid steel and the finish is very nice and uniform. fit and finish are amazing period, let alone for a knife at this price point. Why not 5 stars... i wanted to be wowed by the action, and perhaps in time it will improve as it is broken in.... if it does, 5 stars all day long. Nice Job OGKJust wanted to share an update, bought in May. Use this daily. Edge retention is remarkable, still have not needed to sharpen. Action is actually better now than before. Lock is rock solid. Best $ i have ever spent on any knife and I have many.

Tough Little Knife
This is a good little knife. I’ve had it for a few years, carry it everyday. It fits it my hand comfortably, keeps an edge pretty well. I use it fairly often, not for work or anything, but just casual use. Blade has great weight to it, easy to open and close. I would definitely buy this knife again, or another of the same brand.

OFF-GRID KNIVES RHINO V2 WORTH IT!
I love this knife. DID I MENTION I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY O.G.K. I like to carry an EDC with me whenever I’m able for a multitude of reasons in the past that was generally S&W knives until a year ago this month (September, 2023), while S&W knives are a good knife for the price point and purpose —I got behind the wheel of my OG RHINO V2, and now there’s no going back. The smoothness of the bearing when flipping the knife open is virtually unnoticeable, not to mention the blade. It comes out of box sharp and ready to work; keeps an edge well and is easy to sharpen/touch up. The only problem I have with OFF-GRID KNIVES, is that they made me OFF-GRID KNIVES DEPENDENT! I’m Looking forward to my next fix…I mean O-G Knives purchase! 😁This is an excellent knife for work or play and is built exceedingly well and decently priced.
