Smart and stylish
I purchased this air conditioner a few weeks ago and now that I have got used to the setting I am able to give it a review,The noise of it is average to most portable air conditioners, it’s powerful and the design and display is very stylish and modern, I like the sleep function which turns itself off once it reaches the the temperature set by the user and when the temperature rises it simply starts up again, it has all the features and functions you would want, I can sleep perfectly well with the machine on but I am a little hard of hearing and after a while you would get used to it, a bit like living next to a train line you get used to it, the machine is set up in my bedroom and it actually cools the whole of my bungalow down to a comfortable level, the only snags are the vent pipe is not very long and to combat this I positioned the unit securely on top of a old bedside table I have and the other snag is plastic vent that can be used only on some types of windows, if you have internal glazing then the plastic vent would be okay but if you have windows like mine (see picture) then it is of no use, but apart from that this is a fantastic and powerful machine just make sure you use the pipe to vent the hot air out through your window or other outlet. So this is a great and well designed air conditioner and I would recommend it if you’re considering buying one, I also bought the extended 4 year warranty with this unit and I kept the box and packaging in the shed should I need to return it should a fault occur.

Brace for the cold air ... and the noise
Pros: I bought this at the beginning of the summer. It was definitely a life saver. Coming back home on a day surpassing 30ºC, and be able to cool down in front of some cold air is an unmatched experience. The unit does not produce much water, so you don't need to empty it so often. Although the unit is heavy, it is really easy to move thanks to the 4 wheels. I have not used the remote control since it has not been necessary; the control panel on top of the unit is very easy to use.Cons: noise noise noise. An AC unit will always cause noise. Since portable units have their engine as part of the air unit, you have an engine right inside your house. Even though I knew the unit would be noisy, I was not prepared for how noisy it is (although, probably not noisier than other units). If you wear headphones most of the time, especially noise cancelling ones, you will be more than fine. However, trying to watch TV with the unit next to you is pretty much impossible - you will absolutely need the CC. The unit is also taller than I expected, but nothing too extreme.

Excellent cooling ability
I am an elderly lady who needs equipment that is easy to get going from point of delivery and easy to manouvre in situ. The air conditioner arrived promptly and was easy to put together. I did wait for the 6 hours advised on the outer packing and fiddled a bit with the window fitting gear, as I only have small, outward-opening top windows. The sliding gear fitted in easily and I secured it with a couple of pieces of strong, double -sided tape. I then devised a fly screen , made of plant netting and tied that on, secured with awning clips that will be easy to remove at a later date. This unit was purchased as an addition to 2 x 20 year old air conditioners which have tanks that need to be emptied of water several times a day in hot, humid weather., partly because of the fact that the new one discharges the water through its own hot air duct when in cooling mode. Having now used it, I am well-aware of the improvement in speed and fast cooling effect. It is almost enough to cool my entire 2 bedroom bungalow, but a second one will be a perfect solution in really hot weather such, as we now suffering. The only downside, is that it is a bit noisy, but I got the house cool enough yesterday, in about 4 hours, to enjoy a perfectly acceptable night temperature. I always had to use my old ones overnight and almost all day in very hot weather, so think I shall be able to get a better result with less use of electricity with this model. In addition, it is pleasing to look at and not as large as the old ones. One perhaps important point is that it has a much wider outlet hose and I am guessing that this disperses heat from the house much faster. I just hope that it lasts as long as my old ones!

Happiest purchase ever
The uk was set to have a heatwave 17 June 2022 at 32 degrees Celsius (89.6F). Which doesn’t sound a lot but we tend to not get much wind with our temperatures and also we have poor heat alleviating resources at home, like no AC or ceiling fan to cool us off effectively. This was a big purchase as I don’t have much money ripTo start off, the parcel was a bit heavy but that’s an AC for you, still lighter than my mini fridge in my room. It also has wheels which makes it easier to move around (also comes with two spare wheels which is amazing)There were instructions provided but honestly it’s super self explanatory with common sense as to where the tubes go and which parts to use where. So installation was super easy. I also installed the window bag thingy myself via a separate purchase as my windows are somewhat weird (the bag through which the ac tube goes outside)On the heatwave day I set this to the lowest setting on 16 degrees and I felt no warmth from the outside, in fact I was cold after an hour or so and I had to get blankets in my room because of the cold itself, and I love the cold but while stationary on my day off in bed watching shows, I got pretty cold. I found 20 degrees to be a very comfortable temperature, not hot, not cold. Just right.Noise levels, it’s actually a lot quieter than I thought it’d be. Its noise levels are like a regular school AC system where you can hear the fan and that’s all, no clinking from any pats of buzzing. The panel on top of the appliance is easy to use and a simple touch activates it.This is further improved by the remote control. You can even change the fan speed from low to high which is a big plusOverall it’s a great appliance 100% worth the money.
