I have no idea what is in the head of the guy that said 'if you live near the coast with salt in the air...recommend finding a more rust resistant steel.." STAINLESS STEEL IS RUST RESISTANT STEEL, that's one of the reasons it was invented. It will work fine. and no.. its not gonna 'rust'... you might 'tarnish it' a bit, but, the color change of the ball bearings wont hurt a thing.
