I ordered a box of 12 Amazon Basics Hardboard Clipboards, and the box they came in says "Made in China".

Are they made of wood?

yes, these are made of wood and metal. the wood seems to be pressed wood fiber.

Do these contain any recycled content?

I don't know for sure but no where in the ad does it mention any recycled content. I'd say the answer is no. JMO

Strong but lightweight

I needed to replace my old clipboards. I wanted to make sure I replaced them with ones that would last a long time, so im happy I picked these ones. The board is solid and doesnt flex, the clip at the top is strong so paper doesn't fly off in windy weather. They're lighter than my old one which is great after a few hours of holding it. Exactly the size in the description. Happy to recommend.
