LONG STORY SHORT:We moved to a new house, one with a working wood burning fireplace. Last winter, we opted to keep it wood burning, and we used it a LOT.Great to have a dedicated Ash bucket that looks nice and is functional. Although we have a fireplace set that includes a long handled brush and pan, these handheld versions are bigger, and often more useful than the long handled ones.The bracket to hold the pan and brush is offset. It's shallow on the left side for the pan, and wider on the right side to accommodate the brush. Well thought out design.The bucket is "shallower" than it looks from the outside. There's a 1-2 inch buffer between the bottom of the pail where the ashes sit, and the contact with the ground. That way, anything that's potentially hot, doesn't directly contact the surface that it's sitting on.CONCLUSION:Looks nice, works great, IS nice. Good buy.

Needing an ash bucket out where it can be used usually requires ugliness. Not here! This is a nicely built and finished unit. Too, it is sized nicely. Not too big or too small.A bit pricey, but I suppose one gets what one pays for.

The Beckett seems great, and the shovel is just the right size. The brush look like it’s been through a war, with bristles that appear to be tattered. Perhaps I got a return? I didn’t realize the space to hold. The shovel emblem would be purposefully uneven, but after placing the items against it on the bucket, it made sense.

The perfect size to keep next to the fireplace. Holds days worth of ash, and makes clean up a breeze!

The coating on this pale looks sturdy to last & the matte finish is nice. The scoop and brush are a nice plus, though the brush’s location alongside the scoop makes it impractical. I’ll leave the brush to the side instead.The important detail here is the bottom. The bottom of this pale does not site on the ground but is around 2-3 inches from the ground. This was the key factor in me buying this. If you for some reason need to put hot ash and coals in here, rest assured it will not burn and damage the ground underneath it, which may be your wood or tile flooring.Also it gives a handle to grip when dumping the ashes. Overall this is a solid buy and I’m happy with it. My concerns are the paint coating chipping over time so I’ll update the review should that happen.

An ash bucket that works as advertised!

Product serves its purpose to hold ashes however the design to hold the shovel and brush is not effective. Hard to remove cover without having to take shovel and broom off. The gloves quit frankly are small and not of good use. Again, a pot for storing ashes is what it is and good for a small pellet stove. I think a larger wood stove with a lot of ash and coals, you would need a larger size

Good quality! Nice size pail for a cabin. Small for a larger wood stove. Was just right for our cabin. Brush is a nice touch!
