The tray isn't very big so it's not great if you want to use it to mix lots of paints, however it's great for small work. I'm using mine to help me paint my Christmas cards.

Great for small painting, as you can see it’s half size of my large. Easy to use, sturdy, okay value comes with pad. A some pallets. I order more. Lid is great easy to take off & on. I would order this again but in larger size, I paint a lot. Perfect keeps paint for weeks or longer in refrigerator. Water resistant Happy painting!

I'm a hobbyist painter who works with acrylics on canvas and gaming miniatures. Unfortunately, acrylic dries quickly on a regular palette, even with slow-dry medium. This wet palette works wonders. I can leave paint sealed inside for days, and when I'm actively painting, it keeps the paint wet and workable. This palette came with plenty of reusable paper palette bases, and in a couple months of working with it, I've only changed that paper once (and I probably could have kept going with it if I'd wanted to).

I rarely finish a painting in one session, so having the ability to close this and save my palette of paints is essential! It’s sturdy and the lid closes well! As long as you monitor the wettest of the sponge under the paper palette, your paints stay moist for a couple days!Highly recommended!

I have not had a chance to utilize the palette yet, but it is exactly what I was looking for size wise. It should help to keep my paints moist while painting. I am slow at painting and my pint too often dries out before I am done with it. This should help.

Good size and pants last for at least two weeks
