A First course in Differential Equations: Student Solution Manual for Zill's Classic Fifth Ed.

This book is overall not very good. It helps in showing where to start off a problem and then it shows the answer, for the most part. Some problems are worked through but are not thorough. It needs more steps to show how to solve problems. The book also skips by 3's, which is kind of weird. You can see a preview of the book before purchasing so take a look at it there before purchasing. I didn't see that until after I recieved the book. I was disappointed in the overall publication of this book. Lots of the answers have many ways of being answered and the book shows one. The best thing about the book is that it is lightweight.. haha..

Waste of money. Had the non helpful solutions which are practically just the answers in their threes.

The worst book ever. Also, it teaches in most confusing way. I couldn't understand this book, so I studied from YouTube videos.

Not what I was expecting, only gives solutions for every third problem

Good book, sometimes can be confusing. I would recommend buying this book alongside the solutions manual for further clarity.

Can't beat this price!

Manual would have been great if there were more problems. Only problems of multiples of 3 are discussed in the manual, other than this I would have rated higher.

Using now, and frustrated. Our final is on Laplace Transforms, and this book isn't good at explaining how to work out any of the problems. It skips a whole bunch of steps, and THMs used in deriving answers. I can't see how I can spend 8 hours on one section of 10 problems, but it happens and I'm really interested in finding a site or book that explains these equations in more detail.
