Great jacket, a little snug but with this style all you have to do is move the buttons over!
I like this jacket. I bought for an upcoming trip to Northern England and Scotland. PROS: This is not bulky, so very packable. The fabric is the perfect weight, light and tightly woven. It has a microfiber feel to it, not "plastic" feeling. Fully lined, the jacket is just heavy enough without being bulky. It will block wind and rain nicely and, combined with light layers, will be plenty warm. The hood looks great both down as well as up. Two great pockets on the outside. Does have an interior pocket. The interior buttons are fastened with button holes. Personally I will probably never button any but the top one and then only for particularly blustery weather but it's great that they're there all the way down for those that want them.CONS: Only 1 interior pocket and it's set a bit far back under the arm for easy reach. I would have liked at least 2. I also can appreciate the fact that the placement of that pocket puts it's contents farther back under the arm rather than up front where it could create an unsightly bulge. The pocket "con" is just my personal preference. .The elastic loops for the exterior buttons are too short and tight. Of the 4, 2 of them pulled loose from the seam just unbuttoning the coat when I took it out of the package. However, I am handy with a sewing machine as well as a needle so this is a minor repair and I'll simply replace them with longer loops so they don't come loose again. For the price and overall quality of construction & material of the jacket, I don't mind fixing this issue.FIT: According to the measurements given in the size chart, the 3X should be a little loose on me. I tried it on with a tshirt and a buttondown flannel shirt layered under it and it's snug across the bust but not too small. My bust is 51". I would like it to be a bit looser; however, due to the reviews on sizes, I actually purchased a 3X AND a 4X intending to return whichever didn't fit, and the 4X is just way too big. Considering how hard it is to find a plus-size jacket with any sort of style to it that doesn't look (and feel!) like I'm wrapped in a canvas army tent, I can certainly work with this one. I'll simply move the buttons inward a bit toward the center front of the jacket and that will provide the extra room across the front of the coat that I want. Easy fix. I'm 5'3" and the sleeves are a nice length and it fits nicely across the shoulders. It would've been 5 stars if I did not have to replace the button loops and move the buttons but, to be honest, I have to tailor nearly everything to fit well. Overall I really like this jacket and anticipate years of great use.

Good jacket for mild winter(with layering)
First off, I was VERY hesitant to order a jacket without trying it on first. I think I spent at least a month reading reviews and having this jacket sitting on a list. What I initially was looking for was a longer, waterproof jacket that I could layer with a hooded sweatshirt. I have a "deep winter" coat that is great if its -10 degrees, but our winter has been so mild and a sweatshirt alone isnt cutting it.I have been wearing this jacket for 2 days now, and gathered an opinion about it.The cut and style of the jacket is nice, I dont feel like I'm wearing a tarp, but it covers everything nicely. The arms are slightly on the short side, but only when I put my arms up and out directly in front of me.There is a drawstring in the hood now, but it's odd. If you put the hood up and pull the drawstrings you have to fold over about 4 inches of the hood so the drawstring is on the edge. The jacket does a good job of blocking the wind. The wind can creep up the back if you don't cinch it down with the drawstrings.I have yet to test the waterproof capabilities of the jacket, as it hasn't rained or snowed in the past 2 days. With some slight alterations to the button placement and reinforce the elastic loops with additional stitching, I will be 100 percent satisfied with this coat.Overall, it is a solid coat for a reasonable price.

Gorgeous coat at a great value but fit is a bit of work.
I ordered three sizes based on reviews to size up. I am usually a 2X and kept the 3x which is a little snug in the bust but roomy elsewhere. Not for large breasted women (although you could move buttons.) The larger size was awkward fitting with huge arms and long sleeves. All three had different linings and the one I kept was my least favorite but the coat is so beautiful I kept it. The hood is huge but is meant to be worn folded back and is super cute. I am thinking of moving buttons around for custom fit which will be super easy. Overall beautiful coat but a bit of work to get the right size. I have no idea if it is waterproof but will post updates after wearing in the rain.UPDATE - Have worn on a trip to Spain with bits of rain with no problem. The coat was so bright and cheery and I loved the way I felt in it. Super easy to travel with and roll up without any real wrinkles. I also wore in a heavier rain using an umbrella. This really is just a barrier to the rain and drys quickly. You would still need an umbrella in a down pour. I also found the huge hood easy to manage. You just need to fold it back on itself to customize the fit. Really nice looking coat!

This is a very difficult, expensive jacket that just isn't worthwhile.
This jacket sets you back $40-60 USD, and in fact it has no zipper, just a bunch of buttons inside and out, making it very difficult to close. It fits loosely like a shell, but the color is dullsville and the jacket itself is ugly, like a tent around me, and it doesn't really close up. Plus it's not much of a raincoat, which is what I bought it for, and it just is hanging in my closet because it's really not suitable.

Order size based on measurements and not on the size you usually wear.
I ordered the jacked based on the measurements in the size chart and not the size I usually order. The jacket, since not sized for a Petite, is based on a height of about 5'7". At 5'3" the bust usually fits me, but the waist of the jacket falls below my waist to the top of my hips and the jacket hip is below mine. Hence I ordered a size larger and it worked. While the jacket button and loop closures sounded fine, in practice the loops are very tight and it is tedious to fasten the jacket. The button cuff implies the sized of the cuff is adjustable. It is not adjustable and the only way to make the cuff smaller is to move the button. An extra couple of button holes in the tab would have made the cuff adjustable. How well it does in damp/rainy weather won't be determined for another couple of weeks.

It seems nice. I am a size 16 ordered 2xl its ...
Took ages for jacket to arrive. It seems nice. I am a size 16 ordered 2xl its a bit big but rather that for comfort and wearing big jumpers. Does look a bit cheap a goldfish shimmer to it. Wore it for 3 days and right inside pocket has torn. Will keep and sew it. Ok for work .
