These glides are a bit thinner than the genuine GE replacement parts. The material is the same or similar. Time will tell how they wear, but even if they don't last as long, they are cheap enough to keep extras on hand and they are quite easy to replace for even a moderate do-it-yourselfer. IMPORTANT NOTE: Be advised, that there are four bearing glides in most dryers that use them. They all install in a line across the top of the front drum support. While the seller is presenting these as a set of four, these white slides are only for the outside two bearings. The top (center) two bearings are a dark greenish gray color and are made of a harder material as they bear more weight. While these white slides will fit in those top center positions, using them there will wear them out extremely fast and you will find yourself replacing them again way sooner than you want to. For the top center bearings, search out one of these part numbers: WE1M1067, WE1M507, or WE1M481. And beware, there are sellers listing the white slides under these part numbers. Those are not correct. The correct center slides will be dark in color, not white.

This is an exact replacement part for my dryer.

While these products were not expensive compared to the original GE parts, they are slightly wider than the original. I trimmed the ends (thus 3 *) to have them fit into the slots, left the middle part as is. Originals are just a tad wider than 3/8 of an inch, not 1/2. Can't rate durability however, the drum was spinning much faster because of less resistance.

Exactly what I needed for my dryer and it came unbelievably fast.
