A: It would totally depend on the battery you are using

**Q: Is the bulb LED?**
A: No, it is an older style bulb that drains battery quickly.  The Maglite ML50LX LED 3-Cell C Foliage Green Flashlight is a great choice.  Fits in your hand easily and if you get rechargeable c batteries you have made some good choices.

**Q: What kind of light bulb can replace it with? preferably looking for a led one**
A: This flashlight is junk and does not use a led bulb.  Buy a tactical LED flashlight that uses 18650 battery.
