The best!
Mistyfuse is the best heat activated fabric “glue”. Easy to use, doesn’t add weight and keeps fabric pliable. I like not having to peel paper off, like other fusibles.

I gave this product 4 stars because I just can't love fusibles. However, I do think it's one of the better ones. It is a little less stiff than most. Be sure to read and understand the directions--it goes on differently than most of the others. If I have to use a fusible, this is the one I'd pick.

Fantastic product for the sewing room.
I use a LOT of Mistyfuse for basting quilt sandwiches together and for holding appliques in place for stitching. It holds beautifully and doesn't seem to affect the feel of the fabric the tiniest bit - if you're sewing through it by hand, you won't even feel a difference. It's wispy as a spider's web, and that can be a little tricky to handle, but once you get it fused, the bond holds tight. For basting a quilt, I cut long, 1" wide strips and fuse the quilt top to the batting from side to side, then fuse the backing to the batting from top to bottom. Does a great job of holding everything together so that I can quilt it without shifting and puckers. I can't tell from either side where the strips of Mistyfuse are in the quilt. It's invisible even on the lace appliques I've used it with.

The super glue of the fabric world!
I ordered this product after seeing a video that a woman did on fixing quilt tears. This is very handy to have on hand if you sew. It only takes a little piece of misty and a warm iron to secure the material. I had a tear at the seam on an inner square. Without this product the repair would have shown. And honestly, it would have been a pain because I'm a lousy hand sewer. I heated the iron, stuck a little piece of misty in and ran the iron over it. Done!! And, you can't tell at all that it was repaired. I'm going to order more. I had never heard of this but now I think it's the fabric world's version of super glue!! A must have for anyone that sews.
