This is a great product. I purchased 2 of them because I like to store cut citrus in one and cut onions in the other in the refrigerator. It’s better to store them in glass than plastic. Very durable and easy to clean. Great value and functionality!

Bought it to put an onions in, I like sliced sweet onions, but do not like the odor in my refrigerator. I had a glass dish with a plastic cover, which was suppose to be air tight, but my refrigerator smelled like a giant onion when ever I opened the door. I knew I would probably have to dispose of the lid eventually as even the dishwasher wouldn't get rid of the odor. I bought this glass container and was skeptical it would do what it said it would do, but it keeps my onion fresh and I have no more onion flavor in my refrigerator. I like that it is easy to clean and does not retain odors or stain. I am sure it would work with other fruits and veggies. I would not hesitate to buy this againUPDATE: All the above was true. However, I doubt this is tempered glass. I was moving items around in my refrigerator and bumped it, knocking it to the floor. It fractured into multiple varied sized sharp pieces.
