AWESOME
This computer is incredible. I've built my own computers in the past, and I've used some pre-built systems from some of the lower cost knock-off brands, but this time I decided to just buy the real thing from a real high end brand, so I got this Velocity Micro. The difference between what I can do, or what the cheap builders do, and this work of art is really amazing. It really is in a different league.I wanted to get a Velocity for a couple of reasons. First, they won so many awards and great reviews over the past many years that I was curious what the difference would be over cheaper systems. Secondly, the case they use just looks really classy and mean at the same time. I don't want a computer that looks like a toy. Then I thought about how the wiring would be done in a very careful and thoughtful way, which I don't have the experience or patience to get right, especially after I see how this computer is built. Finally, I wanted to see how the components they carefully selected to work together would make for a better configuration, and how the software and bios tuning would improve performance. The system even came mildly overclocked, and the speed and reliability are both unbelievable. There was no junky bloatware or special offers installed, and I ended up with a very clean and updated install. I think their tuning and tweaks make a massive difference over the stock components thrown together, and all of the right drivers were installed from the factory, which is actually unusual. The case is just amazing! All black anodized aluminum, no silly gimmicks, and just really tasteful and very understated. The side comes off very easily with two hands, and the interior is just so neat and meticulous that I already knew it was the authentic boutique system that I was really looking for. There is no way that this thing was assembled and wired in less than a couple of hours. Every cable was routed neatly and cleanly, and zipped up to make all the components accessible and easy to clean. It's the first PC I've had that I actually wished it had a side window - it deserves it. The other factor that I was not even thinking about was the tech support. I had a rather basic question and decided to call Velocity. The call was answered in about 20 seconds by a guy named Ryan that was actually an employee of the company in the building (Richmond, VA) where they make the computers. He was very good, nice guy, and really knew his stuff. He told me that all of the tech support people are promoted to that job from the assembly floor, and that he's actually been a system builder before. Incredible. Something else he told me, that I hadn't thought about was the warranty. The system comes with a 1 year warranty, but because they use retail parts, many of the components themselves have longer warranties, including the motherboard, RAM, graphics card, and storage drives. I feel like this system, while costing about 10% more now than cheapo brands, will last me much longer than anything I've bought before and will actually be cheaper over the total time I use it.The packaging was very good, and the bonus I wasn't expecting was that it included both a free t-shirt and a simple ruck sack styled backpack that I can use at the gym. Finally, this system from Velocity is nothing like a cheapo computer thrown together by so many of the knock-off junk sold on Amazon. It's also much more customized and high quality than a big factory brand. It's beautiful, screaming fast, quiet, and I just have a great feeling about the purchase. Overall, I would give the system 7 stars if possible. It's worth a few extra dollars to get the premium quality and engineering differences.

Impeccable Quality. Perfect for Web + Graphic Design.
I can't say enough good things about this system. It's totally kick ass: super-high quality components and craftsmanship.I've been a web developer for the last 15+ years. I have always worked off of laptops so this beast was a major upgrade for me. Buying this monster was the best decision I ever made.I run the Adobe Creative Cloud suite. I have Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Node JS running constantly. I use Google Chrome all day and typically run 15 or 20 tabs while I'm working. Those programs run super-fast and flawlessly. The 32 Gigs of RAM coupled with the i7 processor and solid state drive make for a turbo-charged work flow. I freaking love it.I was looking for a boutique provider specializing in high-end, high-performance, graphics-intensive machines for web developers. Velocity Micro delivers on all counts. I'm a serious fan. Major perk that Velocity Micros are made in the USA.

Great System!
Very nice system that can handle anything you throw at it. Only issue is that mine doesn't have blue side fan lights like the picture shows.

Smoke and mirrors
The media could not be loaded.  If you have any other option besides working with this company, I suggest that you take it and never look back. I have met the owners of this company. They exuded a great deal of confidence. Their salesman “Paul“ also presented himself as highly confident. The product that came out the other side of that mirage of confidence is complete trash. I Run a film editing and audio production studio. I bought two computers. One for myself and one for my project coordinator. Both machines have been riddled with grief. One constantly loses its connection with all Bluetooth devices the other, won’t even boot up anymore. In total more than $13,000 has been spent. My return on investment has been one disaster after another. Their salesman “Paul“ lied through his teeth on multiple occasions as to the delivery date of the product. I lost thousands of dollars in work due to his forked tongue. Their customer service is practically nonexistent. The owners bragged that they “serve the intelligence community and government offices of the United States. After having experienced their Snakeoil medicine show for myself, it is much easier for me to understand why the government continuously fails to do its job. They probably just can’t get their computers to work. I have had to go back to using my old computers in order to limp along and continue to make any headway but I have now lost all of my video editing work due to constant technical problems with these Garbage computers. If you are leaning toward doing business with velocity micro, pray for a strong gust of wind to blow you far far away from their webpage. You would be better off spending your money on magic beans.
