Common Sense Cases Woody Single/Double Pistol Case, Wood Grain/Aluminum

This is not like the image or decsription. I've purchased a CommonSense case before; same thing with American Flag design. They are nice little cases for carrying a gun(s) from one place to another; NOT A SAFE. When this one arrived, I thought I got a counterfeit. It felt very cheap and light; mostly plastic. Even the metal parts don't feel like metal. My other case was more sturdy. My biggest problem though is that the pictures on the site, and the item description indicate it has a combination lock under the handle. This did not have the combo lock, which leaves you with having to use 2 tiny padlocks that can fit through the rings on the latches; because if you only lock one, it can still be easily pried open enough to pull the gun out the side. The nice feature of this case is having the built-in lock or I'd just use the manufacture case. CommonSense does make a cheaper model without the lock, but that is not how this was advertised. The other thing that was weird is that CommonSense always puts a black logo on the front of their cases and the one I received did not. I'm not sure I bought the real deal.... I shipped it back.

Very poor quality control, it is clearly cheaply finished with scratches over the burl (plastic) finish and uneven bubbling of the plastic in some areas. To be fair the foam seems adequate for a compact gun, although for a heavy pistol like a full size 1911 (38oz) you might do better with a Pelican. I returned this unit same day.

BEWARE !!!!!!Pictures and description do not match product !!! There is no combination lock just the two hasps ? A review from over a year ago mentions this and the descriptions and pictures are still not updated . The first time I have not been happy with Amazon ! Deceptive descriptions of products is a nono . Product is ok but not as described

I would recommend this pistol case to anyone & the other reviewer sould not complain. This should be used as a transport caseand not as a gun safe.
