SUPER GOLD DIG IT! Supersized Treasure Inside!

Purchased this for my grand daughter who was quite excited as 8 year old's are for such a gift that might contain a valuable item. I understood that the realistic chances of finding a nominal piece of gold was remote or non existent. However, she found a cubed piece pyrite about a quarter inch . Although the packaging is gala and colorful in nature, I am of the opinion that I would avoid recommending this item as a primary gift.

So not worth the price. You only get one stone whether you get the small one or the big one. Save your money and buy the small one.

It's a big, hard to chip, block of colored sand. Eventually you find one lone stone somewhere in the midst, and realize that it doesn't have more than one stone, as the packaging photos lead kids (and even reasonably smart parents), to believe. -Gotta read the fine print.Even with expectations well set in advance, are many kids actually happy after doing the excavation here? Only a very small percentage, I'd guess. Not a good gift IMO.

Would give it zero if I could. Thought would get move for its size. Had i know we would have found 1 rock in a gigantic thing of sand I wouldn't have spent the money.

The price is a little high for all that1 it is.
