Unlike most miniatures, the artists that made this one somehow managed to embed a sense of motion into the sculpture. It does not look static, really looks alive. This is also true about the other Archon studio miniatures that I have seen by the way.One special thing to mention is the amazing balance - large miniature standing solid on a very small base. This is not only art but also an amazing work of engineering.One downside is they tend to overdetail in my opinion - too many horns and spikes, giving the miniature a slight anime feel - this kinda distracts from the central object.But overall really beautiful.

Got this for use for tabletop wargaming hoping to save money versus a Games Workshop equivalent. This is THE cheapest way to get a zombie dragon on the table. I was worried the quality would be noticably less, and I was pleasantly surprised. This is much sturdier and a better engineered model than the terrorgeist/zombie dragon made by GW. As the owner of both kits, I wish I had bought two of these first!
