Great USB cord!
I bought this cord as a replacement for my SanDisk extreme portable ssd since I lost the original one. The transfer speeds are just as fast and haven't had an issue using it with my Xbox!

A Perfect USB Cable for Storage Devices
Don't let my title fool you, you can easily use this cable for other USB-C devices, but I mainly got it as a replacement cable for my external NVMe storage enclosure. My old cable has a Type C connector on both ends and I recently updated my computer motherboard and case and I no longer have the type-c connection available. So, I found this cable as a perfect replacement as not only does it still have the option for a type-c connection if I need it in the future, but the length is the same size as my other cable and doesn't get in the way or add any unnecessary clutter. The cable is absolutely perfect and works great. I am getting nearly the same read/write speeds on my external drive as I was getting before and I couldn't be any happier. The quality of the cable itself is also very good. The ends of the cable are very stiff in terms that it won't flex or wear out from using it over long periods of time and it should hold up without any fraying issues. The interchangeable connector end is also very high quality and the USB-C to USB-A adapter end fits very tight and snug to the point that it takes a reasonable amount of pulling to get them to separate once again. So you will not have to worry about the adapter coming off easily or anything like that.Overall, if you need a short replacement USB-C to Type C/A USB cable, then this is the perfect option. This settled all my needs and I am glad to have received it. I highly recommend it.

fast data speed and fast charging speed
This cable is great for both data transfer and for fast charging. USB3.2 speed is great for copy files from my laptop to an external SSD. The USB-A adapter lets it work with both newer USB-C laptops and older USB-A laptops. The cable also works great for charging, but it does not have E-Markers can only be safely used up to 60 watts (some laptops can charge up to 100 watts with E-Marker cables).

Did not work with External SSDs
Great concept, poor execution. When attaching the cable to a SanDisk Extreme Pro External SSD, the computer did not recognize the drive. Intermittent connection on other types of drives using USB-C connector.

Why Carry Multiple Cables?
I'm a huge fan of and own many cables that offer the versatility of adapting to multiple applications via integrated convertible plugs, and this all-in-one cable from AFTERPLUG nicely fills the need in my arsenal for situations where I need both USB-A/USB-C flexibility or straight USB-C. The cable and adapter are sturdy and well constructed. I've tested it under multiple scenarios from charging my MacBook (USB-C to USB-C) to charging earbuds (USB-A to USB-C) to high-speed data transfers from solid state drives (USB-C to USB-C) and it performs flawlessly. I find the 1ft. length great for most purposes. I also like that my copy of this cable doesn't have the prominent brand logo like the way it is pictured in the product photos. Just looks cleaner and more professional to me that way.Why carry multiple cables and/or separate adapters when a single all-in-one cable will do the job? Get this cable and slim down your gear profile. Highly recommended!

Works well
I needed a USB-C to USB-A as the Bluetooth function in my phone is not working well and I wanted a way to transfer photos to my computer easily. I did not have such a cable and I then I saw this and I thought I would give it a try. I was able to plug my phone into my Windows computer and it was recognized immediately by the PC. I was able to transfer my photos with no problem. It also charges my phone very fast when plugged in.I have been testing the cable for a few days now and I can say that it is fast and it works very well. It is a great alternative to wireless if you need it.The only drawback, in my opinion, is that the cable is very short. I would like to see it a little bit longer.
