An awesome little device - IMU on board is a killer!
Works no problem, I got it because of the embedded IMU and everything worked like a charm with Arduino IDE - BLE included. Pleasure to work with!

Tiny Beast
For the size and price this little sbc is a beast. Granted it is not fast and does not have a ton of space, but there are loads of features packed into this tiny package. The XIAO series boards are like the Tardis of SBCs, bigger on the capabilities than the tiny footprint should allow.

Issues out of the box, but got it to work
These modules just don't like USB3 ports.Could not get any programs to upload, got a "not in DFU mode" error. And it suggested grounding some mysterious unknown "DFU" pin. I have similar Adafruit nRF52840 boards and they work just fine. After some time of trying this and that, I tried a USB2.0 port on the Windows 10 machine I am running the Arduino IDE on. After that programs would upload in the "DFU" mode. I almost returned this module, but seems to work now.One more thing. The XIAO-nRF52840 has a teeny weeny, tiny, tiny, microscopic reset button. You need to double click this to enter the "DFU" mode. When the "DFU" mode is entered, a "D" drive will appear in "This PC" and a COM port will become available. When this module was plugged into a USB3 port the "D" drive would appear, but it showed no files on the drive and accessing it would produce an error. Plugged into a USB2.0 port the "D" drive contains three files and the DFU program upload through the COM port succeed. After an upload the "D" drive and the COM port disappear and require a double click of the teeny, teeny, tiny reset button to upload another program. Also, I, for the heck of it, uploaded a program the the Seeed module using the board set to the Adafruit Feather nRF52840 module. That may of had some additional curative effect on the XIOA module.

Super versatile micro controller
This little guy is small but powerful and easy to program with Arduino IDE. Seems to have much more stable Bluetooth connection than ESP devices!

Bought to use as SteamVR Dongle
Bought a pair of these to use as SteamVR dongles to connect my Valve Index controllers to. Super easy to set up, just had to hold the button while the device was plugged into my PC, dragged and dropped the firmware onto the device, and was set to go. Much cheaper than any other aftermarket SteamVR dongle, works great.

Good but expensive system.
This is a nicely packaged processor that comes in handy for making portable test equipment.
