After using a safety razor for years, this razor made me switch back to cartridges...
Head Shaver's Experience: As someone who was using safety razors exclusively for a few years, I have to admit that this Cremo razor has given me the closest and smoothest shaves I have ever had. Hands down. I know that there are many factors that go into the experience people have when it comes to shaving (skin type, hair texture, etc), but as someone with pretty sensitive skin and coarse hair, I have had exactly ZERO irritation with this razor. None. Paired with the Cremo shave cream, my daily shaving routine is one of the highlights of my day! Most modern razors look like props from cheap sci-fi movies. May sound silly, but I just hate the aesthetic of modern cartridge razors. This Cremo Razor has an elevated look and a quality feel. The handle is weighted so it feels solid in your hand which will help you shave with confidence. It's also important to note that Cremo is owned by Edgewell (the company who owns Schick), so this razor will work with any Schick Hydro 5 cartridge variant. If you like the Hydro 5 series, I think this razor will upgrade your shaving experience for sure.

Good close shave
What a great shave! I have had all of the razors there are but this one, by far is my absolute favorite. It feels good in the hand. The weight is perfect. I have bought stick deodorant, body wash... everything they sell is amazing.

A premium razor handle and blades.
Should have bought it years ago. High quality. A nice solid weight to it over Gilette or similar manufactures. This is a premium made shaver. It doesnt have the plasticky feel of other shavers. The blades last a long time. I've been using it for a week now and the blade is still sharp. I use Cremo shave cream which gives a butter smooth shave.

Nice Metal handle
Just got it, but I love the quality. I'm not a fan of the plastic handles nowadays. I only bought this because it fits schick hydro blades and I have 2 sleeves left, but my handle was crappy. Well I just shaved with the Cremo blade that came with this, and I'm a huge fan. I'm probably going to buy the Cremo blades when my hydro ones are done.

The only razor in about ten years that has given me a smooth shave without irritation
Update: been using the Cremo razor for eight months. I stand by everything in my review. Cremo razor with Cremo shaving cream is a fantastic combination. Original review below I'm a South Asian male with the associated barb wire growing on my face. Shaving is a nightmare with my hair's mystical abilities to distort expensive razor cartridges. I've tried numerous ones: Mach 3, ProGlide, Fusion, Fusion Power, Schick Hydro, and Dorco. The last two worked reasonably well with a good shave cream (Body Shop or Creme). I've also used a safety razor but disliked the irritation and cuts. Dorco worked well until about 3 or 4 years ago when their razors just dropped in quality - they wouldn't hold an edge, would bend while shaving, and would be almost impossible to rinse clean. The Gillette cartridges would work well for the first three shaves and then lose their edge and were absurd from a cost standpoint. I had switched to using the Philips OneBlade which works very well and without irritation but unfortunately cannot produce the smoothness of a wet blade razor. I saw an article on Esquire recommending the Cremo razor and decided to give it a try. I have so far used it three times and each time my shave has taken less than four minutes for an acceptable workday shave (shaving with the grain only). For an extra two-minutes, I can get a smoother shave by also shaving against the grain. I can use the razor for longer strokes than the very short strokes I could achieve with the Dorco and other blades and the blades are still sharp. The cartridges, also, rinse very nicely due to which they don't get clogged up with hair while shaving and this seems to help. I use Van Der Hagen shave oil with Creme shaving cream to achieve these results. I'm genuinely impressed. I'd like to see if I can get more than ten shaves from one cartridge - I've never experienced another razor that can do this. It's remarkable - it's almost an unbelievably smooth shave. And I have not yet had any irritation or cuts. I very strongly recommend this product if you have facial hair that's like barb wire.

Pricey for a plastic handle
For $20 I expected a more premium-feeling razor handle. When I opened the box, I realized that the handle has a very strange design consisting of a skinny metal piece encased in a clear plastic tube, which can be easily unscrewed for some reason. The part of the handle you actually hold is the plastic tube. The manufacturer could have at least included 4 cartridges to make this razor a better deal for the asking price. As for the razor blades themselves, these are a recolored variant of Schick Hydro5 blades; they have the flip trimmer with signature goo pods and all. For me that's a good thing; Hydro blades (and therefore these blades) have a nice, mild feel on the skin and provide a close shave. I get about 2 weeks of comfortable daily shaves per cartridge before I toss them, but also keep in mind that my facial hair growth is fairly light so your mileage may vary. The actual shave is just fine, but I feel that this handle is overpriced. It really depends if you like the look enough to pay the premium price; just keep in mind that the handle is plastic.

Daily Shave Razor
Good razor, it doesn't get as close as a Mach, but doesn't cut me to pieces like a Mach does! I can shave with it daily, which is a plus.
