Works when staked in the ground.
Tested this with my continuity tester. It works just as good as the ground on my electrical outlets but without the electrical interference from my homes EMF.

Old house
I have a very old house with no ground outlets, so this was the perfect way to ground my mat very easily. Poured is long enough and thin enough to be discreet. We talked away until it weeds out of the window, where it is connected to the ground outside.

Awful
This is a miniature “ground rod”, mine does not work. I requested a return and the seller has not gotten back to me with the label. Terrible customer service and product. Still waiting to be able to return it.

The wind blows the wire off the grounding rod
The wind keeps blowing the wire off the grounding rod. I prefer the rod but switched to plug ground because of this issue.

Not like the pictures
Rod is too short and not detachable like some of the pictures show. Better quality with other vendors

I have better dreams! But breaks after a few months (maybe from eth way I use it)
If you use while sleeping, you'll sleep better! Mine was broken for some times, and immediately after getting a new one, I was having more dreams, and found myself sleeping deeper, so I'm quite sure grounding - and this wire - really works. Now, I wrap it around the extra part of the wrist strap and clip it with a metal clips, as otherwise, I find it comes off the snap too easily. But because the wire is making an immediate "U-turn' from the snap-plug, it tends to crack at right where it connects to the plug head after a few months. And the metal wire inside is very thin, so it breaks - either right away, or soon after. Perhaps they can place extra thick rubber around the wire for the first ten inches or so - a length that gets more abbarision. Or maybe I should just tape the plug on. Obviously, the former would help more. Or maybe I should wrap electrical tape around the plug and first few inches of wire, to make it stronger.
