These earplugs work as expected to decrease the loudness of music while still hearing and understanding what is being said/sung. They have worked well while listening to live bands. But, several times a week I use them for exercise classes to lower the noise and music levels.

I go to concerts/music festivals pretty often, but as I get older and older I'm really trying to take steps to protect my hearing. I used to buy DownBeats earplugs, but due to the high price I was reluctant to keep repurchasing them after either losing or wearing out several pairs. After shopping around I decided to give Soft Vibes a try, and I'm glad I did! I love that it comes with two pairs in the set for the same price that other brands are charging for just one. I always keep one pair with me in my bag, and leave one pair in my car as a backup or if a friend needs them. I like the storing case a lot too. It is sturdy and small enough to fit conveniently in my purse or pocket, but large enough that it wont get easily misplaced. They are very similar in shape and fit as my previous pair of earplugs and are just as effective. These earplugs prevent ringing in my ears even after hours of loud music at a concert, club, or a noisy bar. After a couple wears I just wash with warm water and mild soap and they're good to use again. I've been recommending these to all my friends, and I would totally repurchase. I bought the triple layer ones for my mom. She works in a really loud, factory type setting and always complains that the dispoable foam ones are uncomfortable. She likes these way better. I tried them on myself and they have noticeably higher noise reduction than the double layered type. I'd recommend the double layered earplugs for events where you want to be able to enjoy the music and don't want quite that much sound dampening. The triple layer earplugs would be perfect for noisier things such as motorcycle riding or the shooting range.

These earplugs offer great noise reduction. Best part? It comes with 2 pairs. I work as a machinist and I like to wear these as hearing protection. Way better than your traditional foam earplugs. Foam earplugs block out all the sound and make the workplace a dangerous environment. You dont want to get injured because you didnt hear the guy behind you walking by. With these earplugs I get just the right amount of noise reduction while still being able to carry a conversation with someone else. Best of all theyre easy to wash and reuse. I just run them under warm water with a bit of soap and theyre ready for the next day.

These are great and a definite must have for my 8 y/o competitive dancer. The music is often too loud for her ears and these help block out the loud and sharp noises without making her miss a beat. We keep several pairs on us at all times.

Bought these for my wife in preparation of going to a concert where we had seats close to the stage. She loved them.
