Olde Thompson 6.5" Crown Adjustable Peppermill & Saltshaker Set

Strength is not achieved through merely glued-together flat surfaces, as in our previous set. Nice to be able to use iodized salt, which salt grinders cannot seem to allow (we never did find iodized granular salt, with our previous salt grinder) Very satisfied.

After dealing with salt pouring out of my 20+ year old Olde Thompson salt shaker one too many times, I decided to get a new set. This old shaker had to be filled from the bottom and the silicone plug seems to have worn out. The most important feature for me is that the new one must be filled on the top. I researched and definitely wanted a salt shaker and pepper mill set, not two mills. I ordered this Olde Thompson set and it's exactly what I wanted! I was surprised that it was already filled with salt and peppercorns! It's hefty in size and very attractive. I'm very happy with this product and hope to get as many years out of this as I did with my previous Olde Thompson set. Highly recommend.

I love the way they look and work. Disappointed that they are all plastic. I hope they last for a while.

Love the size and they work very well. They are made of plastic so can not be kept on the stove like I would have liked. The pepper grinder leaves small amount of pepper under it after you use it. I do like them so I will be keeping them.

I found them half the price at Ross after I bought them. The salt doesn't come out very well. Pepper mill is ok, not a lot comes out at once though.

Attractive and nice size

Are nice, work good...a bit light weight, my previous set was glass so just getting used to it. Salt has smaller holes, which is good so as to not over use
