20 Kai Stainless Steel Double Edge Razor Blades

There is nothing I dislike about KAI Blades. Kai blades come in a plain wrapper and no glue on theblades. The blades, because of no glue and their thickness are easy to handle. I compare them equal toFeather blades.

Cheaper than feather. Feels just A tad smoother, sharper. Last slightly longer also. Japan make’s good blades.

I'm shaving with an AS-D2 every other day and my beard is dense, coarse, like sheared steel braided cable. I have moderately sensitive skin and I like it baby butt smooth. I've sampled many of the modern super-sharp blades and prefer the Russian Gillettes as well as Japanese Feathers. I'm now working my way through this pack of Kai blades and they may replace Feathers as my go-to. These cut effortlessly and smooth and don't leave me feeling hot or red with any weepers. I'm usually done intwo passes and a touch-up pass with these Kai blades. The blades are wrapped in paper covers and stacked in cardboard boxes. There is no wax or glue on the blades. There are no logo markings on the blades, they're blank. These Kai blades are on the more expensive side of what's available, however DE blades are still a great value and this luxury is only a few pennies per blade. I don't know how long they each last - I replace the blade weekly whether it needs replacing or not.

The blades are nice and comfortable. Not as sharp as Feather, and I don't know if I really trust a product that doesn't have its name stamped on the blade. They are definitely a good alternative to Feather blades for those trying to save some money, so overall I'm happy with my purchase and will use again!

This is becoming my favorite blade. Prior to this I've stuck with Polsilver SI (favorite), Wilkinson Sword (2nd fave) and Personna Blue (price). I'd read that this blade was thicker while still being sharp and I don't know about it's thickness, but it seems to strike that balance of sharp without being too sharp (for me that's the Feather) similar to the other blades I like. I'm finding I can use this blade with nearly any of my many razors and get great shaves. I seem to be getting even less ingrowns (the reason I started DE shaving) and I've read that may be due to the thicker blade. Time will tell but so far I am really liking this blade!

I have been shaving with DE blades for about a decade. Tried a bunch of different blades over that time and these are the best ones I have tried. I switched from the Astra Platinum blades because their quality went down the drain. Glad I switched to these. I have SENSITIVE skin and these don't leave and redness or bumps, and leave my face so smooth. I average about 4 shaves per blade, so it makes the cost per blade more acceptable. I will be getting the 100 count next.

I bought these because I could not get my normal blades. They are sharp but not as sharp as the feather blades I normally use. I think they are good but I prefer the Feathers. Still an excellent edge, I feel a bit bad giving it 4 stars instead of 5 but if the best are 5 these fall somewhere just short of that.

My usual go-to or benchmark blade is the well-known Feather DE Safety Razor Blade (also from Japan), but this KAI blade performs similarly well and it is just a joy to use this blade for a nice and close shave. In my opinion it certainly beats quite a few other well known brands, but wet shavers know that wet shaving is a very personal matter and what works well for one person may not work as well for another person. As far as I am concerned however the KAI blade really is an excellent product.

I like these DE blades a lot, they take my mild razors up a notch in blade feel and with great efficiency.Also they have good blade longevity from my testing of them on my beard.(other blades avg 6 shaves-KAI 8 shaves)Kai SS blade is .009 thousands of inch wider than a standard blade giving .0045 extra blade exposure per side if that is what you need. ( it makes a nice difference IMO.)They do cost more but are great for mild razors and cost per shave is still reasonable IMO.
