Nothing to indicate that it damages paint in this concentration

How much of ml screenwash do I need to add if I have a 5 litre bottle?

Prestone's recommended minimum is about 250ml, i.e. 20:1 but twice that, I find, gives a good, efficient mix. (you may have noticed that it can be used neat, protecting down to -18c, so there are no hard-and-fast rules.)

Do we need to add deionised water to dilute the liquid?

If you use it in the winter you don’t add water , keep it concentrated. If you use it from spring till autumn you may want to dilute it with water, it’s up to you. I used it concentrated
