works just as good as a $50 tip at SW

Not great
Just go buy the name brand. Other tips do not fit in this guard and they do not tighten down enough without a wrench which is just about the most annoying thing ever. Paint gets everywhere. I’d like a refund but I used them thinking maybe the next would be better than the last, but no, consistently poor quality.

Waste of time
On the job and attached the gaurd and tip and went to spray and paint, came out the bottom sides, and the top even after tightened. Pointless waste of time I put one of my old tips and guards on and it worked fine, so I don’t know if it’s defective product product or just my luck.?

Fair price for a very necessary replacement part
The value in many items I receive via Amazon Prime is the fact that I’m using my Prime account. So minor price differences for small parts isn’t as important as 2-day or even next day delivery. This vendor item is currently available, in my delivery area and on the vendor page, as a next-day item. That’s an important feature for me.While I’ve both done my own brush and roller residential touchup painting, interior and exterior, I only recently acquired an Amazon-vendored airless spray unit for small jobs around my home. The airless kit only included one #513 spray tip. So while investigating airless spraying, I realized the tip’s spray width and orifice diameter should be matched to the paint product type and volume of delivery for the job. I also didn’t think about airless spray tips needing replacement after a certain period of usage. All that told me that a #517 tip might be better for exterior walls given the delivery volume, if not just a more general use replacement. That’s what drove me to ordering and adding this tip to my spray kit.

It really works
For the price I had reservations about what a low priced tip and guard would do. I am surprised. We've put 60gal thru the first tip and still holding a good fan pattern. No leaks no problems. We bought 4 more
