This has held up far better than I expected. I bought 2, thinking they were fast-wear and replace items. I was mistaken. after a year, I am still using the first one on a mic that I use practically every day. I do not remove it when I pack up the mic for travel; I leave it on, and put the mic into a padded carry bag, foam cover and all. After a year, it still has no smell either... it not that I have a halitosis problem, its just you'd think a year of having someone breathe on a bit of foam, eventually that foam would start smelling like breath. Not the case! I compared the sound input before and after the foam and noted no difference. I got this to prevent wind noise, spit and some popping of p's. I don't think it does any poppin p prevention, but it has kept the grill on my Sennheiser microphone pristine. The few times I have performed with it outside I can't tell if there was enough wind to make a difference. Highly recommend as a spit/wind guard.

Good fit. Quality is there. Tip, as I saw someone post....wet them, run under water than squeeze dry then air dry. This brings back original shape and removes creases.

Vacuum packaging make them take a few minutes to relax an I found turning them inside out half way makes installing easy without tearing.

Foam not as thick as I thought it might be.

Just remember to soak them first.

Tried hand-washing the foam before putting it on my mic / having it near my mouth, and thank goodness I did - the water came out black almost instantly, and it didn't stop. I wouldn't put this near my face or mouth.
