Very bright
A very bright light, though the extendable pole is not overly strong, but it should be OK if not knocked around. I'm unsure if it is helping my seedling yet, as I have only had it for a week, but it really makes the corner look brighter.

Read the specifications before you buy.. Do not use the image to gauge size of product
The Halo Grow Light gives a good level of adjustable light to allow growth enhancement for your plants.Unfortunately the head of the lamp is is very much smaller than what was expected given the image that portrays it; it is a mere 11cm across and when at fully extended telescopic height does not allow a huge area of light coverage. The telescopic rod is weak and it gave-up on the first attempt at holding the Halo aloft.Aside from the reported issues with the telescopic arm, which may have been an isolated issue, I still feel this is a good product for the purpose for which it is intended

Good range and space-saving light
I bought this as I needed extra light in a dark spot. I’ve got a few grow bulbs and strips but wanted to see if these halo lights work as well as they’re a neat solution - not requiring a lamp or DIY. I had a bit of a problem at first as the light is quite top-heavy. You need quite a deep pot to be able to support the light without it leaning. And it’s probably best to put it in while potting up to avoid root damage (I crossed my fingers instead and plunged in - fine so far). I’ve had it for a couple of weeks now and the plant seems happy. It has a 12 hour timer which is great (you can also set for 3 hours or 6 hours). You can dim the light (I’ve had mine on 3 out of 5 which works well for this distance from a philodendron). You can also change the colour but I prefer the white. On my tariff this uses less than a penny an hour as it’s LED.Overall I’d recommend if you have the right pot for it.

Fantastic for houseplants. Not suitable for growing “specialty herbs”
This is a great little light, my plants are responding well to it and are putting out tons of new growth. It’s definitely a legitimate grow light as my plants several feet away are reaching towards it. I’ve bought small LEDs in a similar halo design that billed themselves as “grow lights” but were actually just decorative. This thing is the real deal. The different settings to encourage germination/growth/fruiting and flower are nice too. My pepper plants started putting out tons of flowers after I set the light to fruit. One thing that may be a downside for some(not me) is the timer. You can only set it to 3, 8, and 12 hour increments. This means it probably won’t work if you're growing plants that require 18hours of light, such as some plants grown for personal consumption. You also can’t hook it up to a timer on your plug sockets as the timer on the switch would override it. For 18hr grow cycles you would need to manually switch it on and off which kinda defeats the purpose. For me though it works great to supplement indoor houseplants who already get some weak sunlight from windows. The light looks nice too, and although it comes with a stake it would be easy to set up in a cute little terrarium build or something. Would recommend.

Good Customer Service
Had originally bought one of these but after time it developed a fault in one of the LEDs. Product was replaced quickly and the new one is working well so far. Plants has responded well to the light and show good signs of growth.

Does exactly what it's meant to!
I haven't used a grow light before, but thought I'd try it to revive some separated peace lily's that got damaged by frost (i got distracted and forgot I left them outside overnight when a cold snap hit). So I had 6 separated peace lily's.When I received the package, I was worried it was a bit "plasticy", and didn't know how it was going to fair. So I experimented with one of.thr peace lily's and this is the only one that has revived with a flower :-)I like the timer functionality, and that it can be moved anywhere as long as you have an extension lead to plug it into the mains.I would buy this product again.

Nice little grow light
I have been using this for about a month now and it’s a nice little grow light - I’m using it in a pot that is in a dark corner and the plant seems happy enough. There are different light settings and a timer function as well which is useful. It’s a bit pricey because you can only really use it on one plant and other light designs can be placed above several plants, but it looks nicer aesthetically and is more subtle than some of the bigger grow lights so it feels less like my living room is a green house!

Great glow light for many uses!!
This is a great glow light that can be stuck into any plant pot to help a plant grow. Will be great for plants in dark areas of the house. I have used it for a terrarium that sit in a dark part of the living room as is working great. You can select the different colours for different lengths of time they stay on. Like if you want it just for foliage plants you can have just the blue light or red light for flowers or both. You can also dim the lights to select the brightness you want the light.
