Bought this to wear on the beach to keep the sun off my wife's face. I also bought one for myself. The hat did its job. It stayed on with the help of the attach string because at the beach there is always a breeze. We needed something that would not blow off our heads. I am a surf fisherman so this became part of my equipment I will use whenever I go fishing.

Quality is definitely lower than my panama jack one but I do like that the brim is lined for extra durability.bits definitely good enough

This hat was much thicker than expected. I thought it would be sort of floppy but it has a thick brim and is pretty heavy duty. I love the color print beneath, apparently many others do too because I received many compliments on the hat. It completely shielded my face from the sun, I even lost track about the rest of my body needing sunscreen.

Keeps the sun out, works great and looks good.
