We’ve been buying these for years, and the chicken recipe has always been soft. At 3 calories per piece, this was the perfect treat in which to hide my small dog’s BP pill. But without warning, the recipe has changed. These treats are no longer soft and moist, they are crumbly and dry. Not only does my little dog gag on them, but I can no longer use them to hide his pill. I’m very disappointed. There’s nothing to indicate on the packaging that the item is different. The UPC hasn’t changed, only the calorie count.

I use these little treat bits when I walk my dog to reward for good behaviors on our walks. She loves them and they must taste good, because she listens when I pull one out of the treat pouch.

They are low in calories and agree with my dogs sensitive stomach.
