be careful what you use it for
It's named WD40 because it was the 40th try at making at Water Dispersal chemicalFor that , it works well - rusty locks, bike parts etc - great. ANything else, try a proper lubricantIt's not a great lubricantI also use it for "Finishing" stainless steel...Let's say you have a stainless steel cooker hood. You clean it, you will end up with smears. Spray a little wd40 onto it, and clean it off with some kitchen paper towel...wammo...1 minute later sparkling, no smaer hood!(You must clean the hood first, if there grease on it, this trick won't work

Smart Straw is an excellent idea
I assume that most people already know what WD40 is, and what it can be used for. This is my first purchase of WD40 for a couple of years, as an aerosol lasts quite a while for me, but this is my first experience of the Smart Straw.I have to say, I love the Smart Straw. No more hunting around for the little red straw that came with the aerosol but has become lost. With the smart straw down against the side of the can, the spray will come directly out of a small outlet in the end of the straw fitting, nearest to the top of the can.. Raise the straw to the horizontal position and the spray comes out through the straw itself. It is a great innovation. As far as I can disciover, you cannot buy the Smart Straw device separately. I had an older can of WD-40 that will probably be finished in a few months. So, I bought this new can, and I was able to carefully remove the Smart Straw from the new can and install it onto the older can, it just snaps into place. Once I finish that old can, I will transfer the Smart Straw back onto the new can.

Spray too strong
I always used the small cans of WD40 bit this time I decided to buy the big one for cost effectiveness. Well, it is not as cost effective as you'd expect since the spray is way stronger so you end up using a lot more product, usually much more than you want. You control the flow a bit depending on how much you press, but it just starts at strong and goes to very strong, when I usually want just small accurate bursts. So 5 stars for the WD40, 3 stars for the can, average 4.

Good Value Way to Buy WD40
I get through quite a lot of WD40 in the winter since I'm a keen cyclist and ride in most weather. I use WD 40 on the bike after cleaning it, following wash down with degreaser / water and before applying lube, on various parts like the chain, pedals, rear hanger and brake calipers. IMPORTANT: If using on bike keep it away from bearings in botton bracket, wheel hubs and headset, since over generous application of WD40 will remove grease...I learned this the hard way, and needed to replace all of the above!

WD40 What more to know.
WD40 works well.I thought that the added cost of the clever cap was a bit of a gimmick but I am converted now. No more hunting for the original pipe when it falls off in use.Nb new style cap can be removed and fitted to old style cans too.Bonus.

Fantastic price, huge can & genius mechanism
Ah, finally after all these years WD-40 have replaced that silly straw will a clever fixing invention. So, the price for ml per £ is the same as with the larger 600ml can, yet it comes with the genius attachment which is really really good at getting to those awkward angles, you can lock the mechanism in between spray & straw spray.Well done WD-40 designers, I’ll be back buying more of these providing the price stays the same!

Simply the Best
WD-40 Multi-Use Product Smart Straw 450ml Pack of 3 is known to everyone including young kids who can ride bicycle's.This product talks for itself and is of help to anyone who is in trouble with rusty hinges, locks etc. One of the best Lubricant I wouldn't hesitate to say across continents. The new pack is so good with the straw attached so it helps WD40 reach exactly where you want it. It has multiple uses we have a can of WD-40in every room including our washrooms. The new design of its flap cover can move in different directions with the straw which is brilliant. It also helps in cleaning very stubborn dirt. This is one of those products that recommends itself. With the new flap and straw design it will do much better.

Nifty and bigger than expected!
I love this design of WD40 bottle. I had a small one that ran out so bought these to replace and to my surprise and delight they were much bigger! The nozzle is great for using on locks, latches and tight spaces like hinges. It’s very good if you want to be precise about application. The main sprayer works well for treating rusty surfaces. I used it to clean up my fire pit as it had gone rusty in the rain. It needs a wash before I put anything in it to make fire but it helped to remove the rust!
